Unfortunately Urological Associates is experiencing a phone outage. One of our servers is currently down until noon tomorrow, Friday, September 8th. We are able to take calls to one phone at this time. Please only call if it is an urgent matter. If you do not reach someone, leave a short detailed message and we will return your call as soon as we can.

If you are experiencing an emergency and need medical attention, please report to Memorial Central Hospital or Penrose Main Hospital.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience. If you have access to the patient portal, you are able to send secure messages online.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

September is Prostate Awareness Month.

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer among American men. Prostate cancers usually grow slowly. Most men with prostate cancer are older than 65 years and do not die from the disease.

Finding and treating prostate cancer before symptoms occur may not improve your health or help you live longer. Learn more and talk to your doctor before you decide to get screened or treated for prostate cancer.

We have a table set up in the reception room featuring informational material and books on Prostate Cancer for our patients. Please take a look next time you are here!

In recognition of Labor Day, Urological Associates will be closed Monday, September 4th. The office will resume to normal business hours Tuesday, September 5th.

Labor Day is observed in the U.S. on every first Monday in September as a day to recognize the contributions of American workers of all industries to the U.S. economy. It is also meant to give workers a well-earned day off to relax at home or to get out for recreation.
Besides recognition of labor and general entertainment, another reason Labor Day was instituted was to provide a public holiday in the long, “holiday-free” span between the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. This gap-filler strategy, combined with its “strategic position” at the end of the summer season, has made Labor Day a much-appreciated break for many U.S. workers.
