Male and Female Differ Even in Space
Male and female difference on earth are well documented but recently NASA conducted series of studies to find out how male and female physiological response differ during space travel. The results show that Cardiovascular, immunological, sensorimotor, musculoskeletal, and reproductive systems show differential response in male and females.
Recent studies ask one fundamental question, can humans (either male or female) survive long in microgravity conditions?

Eating the right diet can help you keep your weight in check (one of the biggest factors for treating osteoarthritis), reduce inflammation and build strong cartilage. #JointPain #Osteoarthritis #OrthopaedicSurgeon
There isn’t a specific diet for osteoarthritis, but studies do suggest that certain foods and nutrients can lessen joint pain and possibly even slow disease progression

The surgery involves removal of the soft tissues to reach the sequestered disc in the spinal canal compressing the nerves and thus freeing the nerve(s) using microscopic vision and magnification. The patient needs to be hospitalized for about 2-3 days and then stay outside for another 5-7 days before heading back to homeland. The patient can walk on the same evening / on the day after surgery. The surgery is 99% safe and successful. I have been a patient of Dr. Kevin Setters for nearly two years and one could say that I am a "difficult" patient. I had a frozen shoulder with a torn rotor cuff for three years before seeking treatment. Dr. Setter took the time to evaluate my injury and explained what options that I had and the treatment that would give me the best chance to recover. He was patient, understanding, and answered all of my answers and concerns. Dr. Setter is a superior surgeon with high standards and will except nothing less when it comes to the care of his patients. Failure is not an option. The compassion he shows towards patients is unlike no other and he invests a personal interest in the recovery of his patients. His surgical staff is outstanding and works diligently to ensure that the patient's pain is controlled. They follow up with the patient a couple of days after the procedure to see if the patient is doing well and not having any issues. Dr. Setter's primary objective is the well-being of his patients and their quality of life. Dr. Setter's office environment is nothing but professional and the entire staff strives for a pleasant , stress free atmosphere for the emotional comfort of the patient. I am so fortunate to have Dr. Setter and his supportive staff as part of my health care needs. I will forever be grateful to the awesome people of Upstate Orthopedics and especially Dr. Setter for the exceptional care that I received. Because of him, I am able to return to a profession that I love and for that I am eternally grateful.

If you like being herded like cattle about to be slaughtered this is the place for you. I was sent to a 1st waiting room. I was then sent to a 2nd waiting room for a CT. I was then sent back to the 1st waiting room. I was then sent to a 3rd waiting room. It was then decided I would have an x-ray (after just having a CT!) of the opposite leg. I was taken to a 4th waiting room for the x-ray, then sent back to the 3rd waiting room. Finally I was sent to see the Dr. I left after 25 minutes. I am requesting all of my medical records from this factory be sent to another provider. I will never go there again!

We love Upstate Orthopedics! I have taken my son to Dr. Scuderi who performed a complicated knee surgery which turned out great! In Binghamton, my son was misdiagnosed and lived in pain for 2 years! Upstate got my son in and he had surgery in less time that it took to get an appointment with his own doctor in Binghamton. Dr. Scuderi also treated my son's broken ankles (twice) and he is a complete sweetheart, no-nonsense kind of doctor. We absolutely love him. I took my aunt and grandmother to Dr. Damron - his bedside manner takes some getting used to, but accept it and move on because he is every bit with seeing and his assistant is a sweetheart. They'll take excellent care of you. Top notch care all the way.

If you enjoy seeing a different doctor every visit, where no one knows you or cares about your case, then this is the place for you. This is by far one of the worst practices I've ever been to - and we've been to more than our fair share over the years.
