This will make you laugh... extremely talented lip syncer crop dusts a field while singing a Backstreet Boys song.  He really gets into both the flying and the singing.

We had to share this great shot to start our week. There is nothing like the feeling of take-off, knowing that every time you're about to start an adventure from far above the world below. What's your favorite thing about flying?

Good morning all,

Some more "old" work this morning.

Sharing this image reminds me that I didn't see this particular aircraft over the weekend 😔

While politicians think they are acting in good faith, their work is going to hurt veterans and deny them access to their dreams.
If you follow aviation news at all, then it has been hard to miss the hype surrounding HR 476, a bill designed by lawmakers to "close loopholes" in flight training that really just hurts veterans. While these politicians beli...

As a former student of the "Memphis location", which no longer exist, I can guarantee you that they are going to say whatever it takes to protect themselves. They rushed us through our training in order to benefit themselves and their instructors, especially once they found out that the program was no longer going to be funded by the VA. They burnt up our hours, our GI benifits, and everyones tax dollars! Don't let them fool you about the "loophole' thing either, they're "school shopping" right now, trying to find a program that will make the 85/15 rule work in their favor by throwing a bunch of non-flight students into a "general education" program. They wouldn't give me my stage 3 check ride that I needed in order to schedule my flight with the DPE because they were too busy falling apart, so now I have a bunch of instrument hours and nothing to show for it. So how many of us here in Memphis actually passed? It damn sure wasn't 80%. Plus, the pass rate bologna only refers to each individual course, how about a PROGRAM COMPLETION RATE???? For Memphis? I believe that its program completion rate is hovering somewhere in the neighborhood of ZERO... they had damn near 100 students and maybe 5 people earned a certificate they could actually use... All of that money spent on a bunch of useless ass private pilot certificates...

ULA is a family made of up of dedicated professional people who really care about each other, aviation, and training quality pilots. The ULA experience is difficult to describe in words, but the moment you walk in its easy to experience. They care about every person (student, visitor, etc) in ways that matter.

You'll be hard pressed to find a more professional flight school. The commitment to excellence is apparent the moment you walk in. The best people in the aviation industry seem to have gathered in one place. From the receptionist to the Chief Flight Instructor, and everyone in between, you will find top notch people who really care.
