I took my son to University to buy his first new car. Great experience from start to finish. Larry, the sales manager was a prince, and Guy, the salesman we worked with was a knowledgeable gentleman. Finance dept. was helpful in every way. Kudos to U.V. Great place to buy your car!

I took my 2000 VW Jetta to University Volkswagen for service for many years. Then, in summer 2014, I took my car in to have a new battery installed. I was told I needed a new alternator, a repair that would cost well over $1,000. Rather than get the repair, I decided to take a chance and drive my car the short distance to get it home. I ended up taking my car to Carl's Foreign Car Service, located at the end of my street. After an hour, Carl called me and said, "I don't know what to tell you, but your car is charging. You can come get it, and I won't even charge you." It's been running fine ever since. After over 8 years of doing business with University Volkswagen, I will NEVER take my car back to them for service. I simply don't have money to throw away on unnecessary car repairs, and I've since found a mechanic I can trust. #fail

I went to four dealerships in the course of a week and my experience here was the best. A.K. was a wonderful sales rep. Even though I did not get a car here (found a used Rabbit I liked), A.K. was very courteous. When I wrote him to say I bought a used car elsewhere. He asked if there was anything he could do. I asked if the dealership would look it over and he asked if he could set up an appointment for me. I look forward to buying a car from him in the future.

I purchased a new car, along with an accessory rooftop rack which was to be ordered and installed when the license plates arrived. Over the course of the next couple of weeks I made several telephone calls to the dealership inquiring the status of the license plates and the rooftop rack, my only option was to leave messages with various individuals who never returned my calls. Just a few days before the temporary plates were to expire I made several calls in a furious mood to which I did get enough response to acquire the plates and cancel the order for the rooftop rack. I have now owned the car for a couple of months and it is due for an oil change and filter. I called the service department expecting to make an appointment in the next few days. The person scheduling service said they were very backed up and that they were scheduling appointments more than 30 days in the future. I expressed that this was not very good service to which she replied I could come in in a couple of weeks and if I were willing to wait all day they would try and "squeeze me in" I of course am not satisfied with the service after the sale and cannot in any good conscience recommend this dealership.

WORST SERVICE EVER! TERRIBLE. I don't even want to have to give one star. When changing my oil, they claimed the last service folks tightened the sleeve too much and it cracked when they removed it. From a customer perspective, if I bring my car in and you brake a part of it while performing a service on it, the service department should eat the cost versus making the customer pay for it. Worth the drive to Bellevue Volkswagen for honest and reliable service.

if i could give them zero stars i would. extremely rude front desk woman.. each time i would bring my car in to get it repaired i would leave with five other things that needed to be fixed. not impressed with the service in the slightest. they could stand to do some classes in customer service as well. thanks for nothing.

Amazing service and customer care. The service staff goes above and beyond on every aspect of the experience. The sales staff is just as amazing, no major pressure and very willing to work with us! Highly recommended.

I love this place! My scenario was a little unusual. I wasn't sure I wanted a car, had heard terrible war stories about buying cars in the US, and am female. Todd was great with all my ditzy questions and my refusal to buy a car on the spot. We chatted for several hours modelling prices and discussing the difference purchase options. A couple of weeks later when I was ready to buy I organized the meeting via Twitter and never considered a different dealer. I love my Jetta and will definitely return for my next one.
