Is this dog on the bark side? He seems not to be very fond of the little #robot #R2D2 rolling around his territory. As far as our #collaborative robots are concerned: they are here not only to play, but also to work for you and assist you in your #automation projects (just as our distributors, partners and support staff).
Sci-Fi fan Filipe Castro Matos filmed his dog's hilarious reaction to his new R2-D2 bot at his home in Lisbon, Portugal. Filipe's seven-year-old pooch, Uva, looks to be having the time of her life.

As you know, making #robotics available to everyone is a matter close to our hearts here at Universal Robots. However, there is still the skills gap and people need to know about #robots and how to work with them. At Ramtec, a wide range of students (from middle-schoolers to industry professionals) are now learning about robotic #technology by using our #collaborative robot arms. Watch the video and read on here:
Collaborative robots are delivering hands-on learning at Ramtec career Center in Ohio

Stephen Hawking said that #AI could either be the best or the worst thing for humanity. Regarding #robots, we know that our #collaborative universal tools are great in assisting humans in their tasks. They can take over ergonomically strenuous and even dangerous tasks for you and enable you to use the potential and the creativity of your human staff for more demanding tasks. How? Here are some examples: #robotscreatejobs

#Robots can do a vast majority of tasks: pick & place, palettizing, and many more. When equipped with grippers or additional tools, the range of possible tasks increases even further. When being trained by skillfull humans, the #robotic tools can even learn how to cook. And no, we are not even kidding. See the video here:

Do you know, why our #collaborative #robot arms are so easy to use, flexible and can be programmed within minutes? First of all, it is because of great engineers working here, of course. However, our #cobots can also be equipped with great additional tools, platforms and accessories. And these are developed by extremely inventive and creative people like you. I placed an order for a new UR3 robot from the local distributor "IP Tech" back on July 22, and I still do not have my robot in hand. I was told that it would only be a couple of days to get it in my hands, but it still has not happened. It has now been 21 days, which would might be OK if I had been kept informed of the delays. However, time after time I find myself reaching out to "IP Tech" for updates. I would love to give a review on the robot itself, but sadly, this experience is all I have.
