This is a new part-time position for Unions Aotearoa International Development Trust (UnionAID) which is a registered charity and international development organisation recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. All work to date, including project development and management work, has been undertaken by volunteers and the intention is that the Executive Officer will work closely with Trustees and other volunteers in undertaking the part-time role as Executive Officer.

The tenth issue of Solidarity announces new projects in Fiji, and in the tourism and hospitality sector in Myanmar. it also has the exciting news that Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Murray McCully, is optimistic about continuing funding for our highly successful project which brings young leaders from Burma-Myanmar for six months of intensive English language and development studies.
