On 24th April 2013, the Rana Plaza building in Savar, near Dhaka, Bangladesh, collapsed killing more than 1100 people, and 2500 more people were rescued from under its rubble. It was an eight-story commercial building housing offices, shops and also factories manufacturing garments for several international fashion brands. Families of victims are still awaiting for compensation after the disaster.
Every year, on 24th April, people around the world commemorate the victims of the Rana Plaza building collapse, calling for a "Fashion Revolution": will the fashion industry answer the question #WhoMadeMyClothes?

Introduction
UnFrame Collective is an independent resource of documentary photography run exclusively by a dedicated group of photographers whose strength lie not only in the quality of their work but also in the diversity of their vision. UnFrame respects and values diversity as a medium to narrate stories, with a particular focus on contemporary issues, from different angles and across different territories. With the aim of bringing awareness to specific contemporary issues through the photographic medium, the photographers get close to people and their lives and to narrate their stories that would otherwise remain untold.
UnFrame pursues the use of rigorous editorial criteria in order to offer the most current and significant photo documentaries by its photojournalists to prominent international newspapers and magazines.
UnFrame's distinctiveness as a collective lies in the diverse geographical distribution of its members and its usage of the most up to date communication infrastructure as a means of coordinating and best allocating its resources.
Its photographers cover both current events but also delve into a deeper perspective on social issues from all around the world. Unframe's headquarters are in Rome, Italy where its members meet once a year to discuss and plan the organization's future.
