Hugues Pataki and his students at the Lycée Polyvalent La Salle Saint Nicolas in France are going to be using the Ultimaker 2+ they won in the Education Challenge to create a new prosthetic hand! First, they will print, test and assess popular existing designs - then they will take what they have learned to create their own design.

The students at Graphic Design department of the JU Mješovita srednja hemijska škola Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and their teacher Delila Mehmedinović, are designing chairs up-cycled out of the waste byproducts of the printing industry. The Ultimaker 2+ they have won in the Ultimaker Education Challenge will help them bring their designs into reality!

Teacher Daniela Sandeva of the Secondary school Mihajlo Pupin in Macedonia won an Ultimaker 2+ in the Ultimaker Education Challenge! Daniela believes that students of the 21st century must learn to practically implement the theoretical knowledge they've gained in their science classes - a goal their new 3D printer will definitely help with!
