Android Studio 3.0 is now released to our stable channel. This means that everyone can now take advantage of all the great stuff this new release brings, including:

• a new suite of app profiling tools to quickly diagnose CPU, network, and memory performance issues

• support for the Kotlin programming language

• a new set of tools and wizards to support the latest Android Oreo APIs

And that's just scratching the surface, because Android Studio 3.0 also contains major updates to the Layout Editor, new support Standalone APK Debugging, a new Device File Explorer, support for Android Things and Instant Apps, and much more.

I just bought Vysor via Google and received a Google Payments success mail.

However, I am still on the free version. Clicking the "Retrieve License" does not work. I only have one account on Google, so it is not an issue of two accounts logged in.

How can it be fixed?

Very interesting talk by +Danny Preussler. Robolectric is much better than using the emulator, but still a pain in many ways.
I was still using it, but will move to pure and fast unit testing now.
In preparation for #droidconDE check out "Unittesting without Robolectric" by Danny Preussler from last year!
