On daredevil season 2:
I still think it's the best superhero series by far.
I binged through season 2 the other day, too.
Overall i thought season 2 was great, too and has some really excellent scenes in between too,
but to me, i liked season 1 even way more.
Some of that i put on hey, in season 1 it's a new world, new characters, they spend more time on introducing them and hence due to that could tell the backgrounds in more interesting ways.
Which for sure is true to some degree.
I think especially the human aspects portrayal of the characters in season 1 was some of the best displays of doing that on tv ever.
But it's more than that:
First: I'm not as much a fan about the main plotline/question of season 2, which in my eyes could be boiled down to the (anti)hero and those surrounding him wondering about how far they are willing to go (where some think it's ok to kill the bad guys and others never want to cross that line).
It's one of the common plotlines of super hero storylines and despite they presented it well, that annoyed me after a while.
It just felt way more human, believable and allowing me to connect more to the character that in season 1 that he was this imperfect human with more usual human phsyche and social issues.
That also brings me to the second thing i didn't like as much in season 2: His costume, appearance, movement and fighting style. In season 1 he had those hastily but together street clothes and his head band on as "costume" for a good while, and i LOVED that.
Because it lead to both underlining him not seeing anything (like a normal person) and at the same time also made his movement and fighting style way more realistic and believable than pretty much any other super hero stuff ever.
Some of the most believable and most intense action scenes in a tv series ever there in season 1.
(It was also super cool when in between they sorta showed with effects how he'd see/feel things. }
Sadly then at the end of season 1 he got that super crappy daredevil costume.
Then in season 2 they made the costume a bit better looking but it is sadly the same issues i talked about: Thanks to it being an armored costume and him also using this weapon stick most times now etc, his appearance, movement and the way fights are choreographed are all way less human and way less believable to me, just typical cartoony way over the top fare. Now, ok, i'm complaining on high level here, this is still an excellent series, but yeah, i wish they'd change those things again.
