My Favorite Photo Locations in Venice

Who doesn’t love Venice? And who doesn’t love to photograph Venice? For someone who visits Venice for the first time, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by all the possibilities and risk missing some of the best locations. Over the years, I’ve ended up compiling a list of my favorite locations to which I return again and again to photograph them at different times of day and in different weather conditions.

Lithuania is one of the less known though most beautiful and interesting countries in Europe and few people know it as well as Orinta Labutyte.

Orinta is a professional tour guide and traveler photographer based in Vilnius. TTIM 75 – Matt Brandon

For this week’s episode of the podcast, I had a great conversation with +Matt Brandon.

Matt Brandon is a Malaysia-based assignment photographer; Matt has experience photographing for nonprofits, assignment, and editorial work. Recently Matt was the still photographer for Indian Summers a Channel 4 & PBS series filmed in Penang, Malaysia. Matt works well with writers and producers. Matt often collaborates with NGOs to tell their stories and to train their field staff to do the same.

Amongst the topics discussed were the importance of the human form in composition, how to meld in with the crowd, what elements contribute to stronger photos, how to create narrative depth through layering of various elements. We hope you will find this interview as insightful as it was for us.
