Nice. I've been to Secundrabad once on my way to Bangalore. But I was on some covered platform on the other line.

Hi there, buddy!

Visited the Herpetology Center today where they housed many endangered crocodiles, tortoises and snakes!

This particular guy here was too eager to pose for the camera :)

Helios - The Fray

I have been following The Fray for quite some time now, once I realized they were producing the kind of music that I crave.

Now their latest album Helios is out and I'm a bit disoriented all of a sudden. For better or worse, they seem to have changed their sound. It's more electronic/pop than that wonderful piano, which actually I came to associate with the band. Needless to say, most of the songs in this album did not impress me. Even the supposedly popular lead single Love Don't Die.

The only song that stands out for me is Hold My Hand. The piano makes a haunting appearance and the melody is quite catchy. More of this, please!

P.S. No idea why this album is named Helios. But I do appreciate what they've done with the cover. Solar panels!!

A very good theater to catch a movie overall. The decor is very posh and seats very comfortable. The video and audio quality, as always, is top notch. Parking can be a problem but the good thing is that it's very accessible by public transport.

Quite a big mall. Has a curvy shape so you'll never be able to see the mall in its entirety at once. Apart from that, it's a standard shopping mall affair. Has all the brands you ever wanted to see and even a few obscure ones. Most of the dining places are yet to be open I suppose, or else, the food court as it stands now is a bit of a disappointment when compared with Express Avenue. The only draw of this complex is going to be the Luxe multiplex. Not opened yet, but from what I could see, the decor is fabulous and not to mention the city's first IMAX!

Well...I have no idea what qualifies this as a multiplex. They only have two screens to begin with. The ambience is pretty basic. Decor is non-existent. The auditoriums are good, though, with decent legroom and comfortable seats. The ticket prices were lower too so I guess this is good place to catch a movie when you can't find tickets elsewhere.
