Brilliant news! The Beautiful Anthology on NY Times 2012 list of Best Bathroom Books. Fun imagining my #poetry essay (with footnotes and all!) as potty fodder ;)

Interesting. A lady calls in from Lafayette, #Colorado gushing about BVSD and their nutritional school lunch program (about 23:50 in). Ann Cooper of #Boulder Valley is one of the program guests. The caller is a vegetarian though, and it is nice that BVSD has a veg option every day. In our family only the 4th grader regularly asks for school lunch. The other two prefer homemade sandwiches. Oddly the 4th grader is the most prodigious grower among them, and this program was about the claims that healthier school lunches are leaving kids hungry.

Introduction

I'm a Nigerian-American entrepreneur, software engineer and writer who lives near Boulder, Colorado with my wife, three sons and one daughter. I studied Electronic Engineering at The University of Nigeria at Nsukka, and Computer Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I was co-founder of Fourthought, Inc. in 1998, which I ran until 2007, when I co-founded Zepheira.

I'm also a poet (forthcoming collection: Ndewo, Colorado), and editor (Kin Poetry Journal, The Nervous Breakdown & @ColoradoPoetry).

In my spare time I train in martial arts, specializing in AKKI Kenpo, skateboard, snowboard, play and coach soccer, read and write poetry.
