CID seeks qualified officers to join warrant officer ranks

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is seeking first lieutenants and captains, from all military occupational specialties, interested in becoming CID Special Agents to submit applications to transition to a CID Special Agent warrant officer, MOS 311A.

200th Military Police Command

Capital Shield is a training exercise designed for CID Special Agents, with a focus on crisis and hostage negotiation, crime scene processing and intelligence management. The training, which ran 5 through 9 September, included approximately 45 Soldiers, officers and special agents from the U.S. Army Reserve and the active component. As the world changes, so does the Army’s mission.

Army CID Warns of Disaster Fraud Scams

CID is cautioning the Army community to be on the lookout for charitable schemes and scams associated with “Disaster Fraud” donations. Criminals will use natural catastrophes, such as the recent flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, to get individuals to donate to charities claiming to support affected victims.
