Employees and customers of the University Press Plc (UPPLC) were on Friday rewarded by the management of the company for their outstanding performance, loyalty and honesty during the year 2015.
At the event, which held at the Kakanfo Inn and Conference Centre, Ibadan, 20 staff were honoured in the long service award category, with the company’s regional manager, West, Sanya Ajibola, receiving an award for 20 years in the company. Adeboye Ronke also received award for spending 15 years with the company while 18 others were rewarded, having clocked 10 years in the company.
Felix Ezedom, who was appointed as the company’s educational representative in Warri, Delta State, in 2005 was adjudged the best staff of the year, having sold over N28m worth of books in his area. He was also adjudged to have had the highest sales of all the non-resident educational representatives of the company during the year. Solomon Olodun, who manages the company’s online brand and product campaign, was the second runners-up, while Ayoola Adenekan was the 1st runners-up.
