Got it. Maybe this underscores my ignorance of Netflix that I failed to make the connection.

High quality budgeting software FREE for college students

I admire the philosophy of +You Need A Budget (YNAB) and would encourage everyone to use it or an equivalent tool that meets your needs to help you control your money instead of it controlling you.

"I’m convinced we can have hundreds of thousands of students all using YNAB, for free, all throughout their formative college years. I’m convinced that they’ll make it through school in far better financial shape than they (or their parents) would have thought possible. I’m convinced I’ll have far fewer conversations like I did with that sweet, stressed-out young woman. It just shouldn’t happen like that; that doesn’t have to be reality."

Why We Give YNAB to College Students for FREE

This highly-intelligent, extremely-motivated young woman in her late twenties was about to cry. And I had just met her a few minutes before. I ended up sitting next to her at a fancy business dinner. She was freshly minted at this new company, so I…
We believe hundreds of thousands of students using YNAB will make it through school in far better financial shape than they or their parents ever thought possible.

Lost and found

What is the craziest thing you forgot you had? Mine is a bank account with $4,000 in it. No joke.

Here are some other items I'd forgotten about --> http://wbsmth.tv/1PZ3FFn

In my heart, Russia will never cease to be a magical, untamed land of unspeakable beauty. A land filled with people of passion, intellect, and soulfulness.

Incidentally, I had a dream the other night that Vladimir Putin showed up to a party I was hosting at my apartment. I really really wanted to talk with him, but I was scared. Eventually I mustered the courage to awkwardly tell him "я Вас уважаю." It's not necessarily true, but I didn't want to get on his bad side. Then I woke up. #ft

Also, I wasn't making a political statement with this post. It is an untamed land of unspeakable beauty and truly deep, passionate, loving people. Of course there are always exceptions.

The rain cometh...

Or continueth to come. We've had lots of much needed water here over the past couple of weeks. This is the first thunderstorm I've observed this season. Delightful.

We started designing the world’s first fully self-driving vehicle to transform mobility, making it easier, safer and more enjoyable for everyone to get around. Now we're ready for the next step of our project: this summer, our prototype vehicles will leave the test track and hit the familiar roads of Mountain View, California, with our safety drivers aboard. Introduction
I work as a localization engineer for +The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which means I get to help spread uplifting, positive messages around the world in all kinds of languages and through all kinds of channels. That's right, I'm a Mormon!

I love photography. I take almost all my photos on my mobile phone (Nexus 5), but I'm bravely learning to use my new camera (SONY RX100 M3) Here are some of my most popular images:
I have a mild obsession with YouTube cover artists. I discover a lot of music this way, and I often enjoy high quality covers more than original songs.

I love the internet! Not because it's a great place to watch cat videos (that doesn't hurt), but because I believe it plays the most vital role in shaping our future. People using the internet and technology to inspire, bless, teach, and encourage others--that's what excites me! You can expect me to share and engage about:
  • Photography
  • Faith
  • Google, Apple, Facebook
  • Current Events
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons)
  • Language Industry
The most important part of Google+ for me is the experience of meeting, connecting with, and collaborating with other creative, passionate, and kind people. If you add me to your circles, please reach out and say hello! I'll be pleased to meet you.

I keep a personal blog called Websmith, and I recently began to contribute to Mormon Life Hacker. #mormon #lds

LinkedIn has the resume.

Harmons can be on the pricey side, but the variety and central downtown location are hard to beat. They have a nice area on the upper level where you can sit, eat, or relax and enjoy the urban, grocery store feel.

This beach is a hidden gem. It is more secluded and far less crowded than any other beach in the area. I can't count the number of times I have been the only person on the beach. It's a perfect place for meditating, walking, and enjoying stunning scenery. It offers breathtaking views of Point Lobos to the South. The water is always crystal blue, cold, and refreshing.

This is a great place for lunch. Service was fast and it's never been crowded, even when I go at noon. The portion sizes are just right for lunch...I left feeling full, but not drowsy. The pretzel bread is really good. If you work downtown and are looking to try a new place, definitely give this a shot. It's inside the Wells Fargo building on the second floor.

Honest work. Good service. The best thing about this place is that I trust them. They are extremely honest and won't do work that you don't need.

My two experiences here have been excellent. Not only is the atmosphere pleasant and the decor tasteful, but the service has been prompt and without trouble, even during busy lunch time. I got the French Dip Sandwich and was blown away. The meat was luscious and flavorful, and the caramelized onions added a slightly sweet kick. Amazing. I also recommend trying the Olive appetizer. Various types of olives that are locally cured.

My favorite thing about Zupa's is the chocolate covered strawberry that comes with your meal. My least favorite? The greeters that over-zealously welcome you to the store and put a menu in your face. The cauliflower soup is surprisingly good. Other than that, this is a decent place to get a sandwich.

I love the paninis. If you go regularly, they'll start remembering you, and you might even get a free pickle here and there. :)
