I'm only sharing this because I think the writing style is magnificent.
It's 80 degrees today, bet you wish you were smoking with a bunch of friends in a beautiful outdoor setting? Read these while you're combing that address book: Do you call yourself tokers, blazers,...

Aight, though that's not the correct image.
The zero-drop shoe has a lot to like about it.

Sad story, from every angle.
What is the real story behind the notorious Sweet Cakes by Melissa sexual orientation discrimination case?

When I was young, I had dreams.
Now that I'm older, I have movie marathons.
Let's get this out of the way: Episodes 1-3 of the Star Wars sextuplet of films aren't just bad in that they are worse than the original 4-6, they're bad movies, period. The non-human characters lo...

First, park around back. It's way easier. Second, enjoy yourself! I've been to plenty an illicit party in an un or formerly used restaurant-type space, and this had that same feel but with music, good people, drinks and food for cheap served to you by volunteers, and plenty of cannabis users to share time with. Sure, it needs some seating improvements and could use better soundproofing, but it's a comfortable, safe place to enjoy dabs (rig at the counter), smoking (pipes available for loan), or a joint if you're that kind of toker. It's $10 to get in, water is $1/bottle and food is less than $10, too. Way cheaper than a bar except for maybe Happy Hour, but way more comfortable, too. But if you're not REALLY into live music or aren't looking to get super stoned, maybe visit before and after the nightly music set. I'll save you a seat.

Really loving this place. I met the team at a race this year and was impressed with his help on turning my ankle (too many ankle sprains), so I kept going back. Since then, I've steadily improved my posture while working and my form while running, which has helped make any stressful task suck a little less. Would definitely recommend to others.

Bought a Coda Comp there a few months ago, and have since been in for my first tune up, fenders and a rack, and a flat fix. Lovely people, quick service (about an hour, without an appt), reasonable prices (free tuneups for bikes purchased there, installation included with everything I purchased) and a friendly staff. They even gave me two hooks to use to hang up our bikes.

I am not supposed to eat gluten, but everyone once in a while, something smells so amazing that I drop my restriction and sample something. Usually, it's worth it (Waffle Window is also one of those places). Blue Star was worth it. Doughy, light, and flavorful donuts were everywhere, with nothing more than a few hours old. I thought it funny that they only make donuts in the morning, and don't remake any after that, so if you like a particular style, go early to make sure you get it. I had a normal donut with vanilla and cinnamon and can't stop thinking about it.

Every cheese you could possibly think of, with plenty of wine, beer, and cider to wash it down. The serving staff isn't as knowledgeable as I'd expect, but the system works.

Love, love, LOVE their tasting room on Thursdays. Excellent beer, knowledgeable guys, and a laser focus on producing the best GF beer available.

I just don't get this place. While the donut designs are quite fun, their cash-only policy aggravates me every time I want to take someone by. While I don't necessarily hate this place, the donuts aren't as good as I expected and there is always a line around the building. That being said, this Portland institution should at least be tried once by anyone in town, but after that, I'd head to Blue Star.
