In yesterday's game, Minnesota Twins Chief Baseball Officer, Derek Falvey, was up in the broadcast booth in the top of 4th inning. ICYMI, here's the audio & a transcription of the interview.

It was very interesting to hear about how they are trying to change the #MNTwins into a winning club now & in the future.

FYI - the interview is about 7 minutes long.

For just $3/month or about 10 cents/day, you can get the highest quality, ad-free sports coverage on The Athletic. I do and you can too!

It's better than the coverage from your local newspaper. They have national writers like Ken Rosenthal & Peter Gammons. The +Minnesota Twins coverage should be & get better, too.

If anyone's counting, that's 3 defensive awards so far for +Byron Buxton, a +Rawlings Gold Glove for Center Field in the American League and now Wilson's Defensive Player of the Year awards for both Center Field and the Best Defensive Player overall!

If you're a +Minnesota Twins fan, this comes as no surprise at all. He saved many a run for his pitchers. Just ask Kyle Gibson, who always had a look of "How did he catch that?" on his face after one of Byron's #GreatGrabs!

That #GoldenGlove should patrol +Target Field for many years to come.

New Blog Post on the MLB Draft History of the +Minnesota Twins!

We believe the #Twins had a pretty rough patch and that is the main reason why they had 90+ losses in 5 of the past 7 seasons.

We also show how the draft helped them build the 1987 World Champion Minnesota Twins and how they might be on the same track with some of their most recent drafts.

Please check it out, let us know what Your 'Takes are and share it with your friends!

THANK YOU, #TwinsTakers! We appreciate your support!

Hey...we just finished part 4 of our #TrustingThePorcess series. This part is about #TeamDevelopment.

Developing your team is the final step to making your team into a winner but it could also be the most difficult step because it doesn't happen quickly. @MLB teams spend years building their rosters into what they believe they need to win a championship.

They pick, acquire & develop the core players they believe will get them there and then trust those players to make sure they help their teammates except their roles to do anything the team needs to win.

They have to be patient for years, all the while believing & trusting their philosophy of baseball, development and in all the players they've acquired along the way.

We'd LOVE it if you checked it out, shared it and told us your thoughts, too.

New Post- The Minnesota Twins bring back manager Paul Molitor for 3 more years

After a great season taking the #Twins back to the playoffs, the Twins want Paul Molitor to keep managing this team for 3 more years. They took a step in the right direction this season and now their sights are on continuing that progress to not only making the playoffs but winning in the playoffs.

That means they will have to find a way to add some pitching to this team in the offseason. Whether that's in Free Agency, Trades or devleopment of their own prospects is yet to be decided and a topic for another day, too.

Also, pitching coach Neil Allen was fired & the #Twins also made some new hires!

Please read and share then tell us your 'Takes, #TwinsTakers!!!

Who you got tonight? The Cleveland Indians or the New York Yankees? I assume for most Twins fans, the answer is obvious.

Our Trusting the Process series continues with Player Development!

There is no one way to player development. There is a process that teams must trust so they can develop players year in & year out. You could say the process is patience but sometimes it's not. Sometimes a team might be able to develop a player faster. It all depends on each player's makeup. Can they be pushed? How will they react to failure? Can they overcome all the obstacles to reach their potential to play and be successful in the big leagues?

Please check it out, #TwinsTakers, and let us know what your 'Takes!

So, the #Yankees it is....

The Minnesota Twins are 2-12 in the postseason against the New York Yankees and 0-4 in postseason series. Maybe playing one game in New York is what they need? After all, those 2 wins came in New York!

So will it be #OneAndDone or #WonAndMoreFun?

The game will be on ESPN on Tuesday at 7:00 PM Central Time and it will be RHP Ervin Santana vs RHP Luis Severino so be ready, #TwinsTakers!

Severino faced the #Twins in the most recent game in New York and he only lasted 3 innings as the Twins took a 3-0 lead in those early innings. Does that mean they have a good game plan against him? We'll see, of course, but it's also the postseason so the stakes have been raised and he'll for sure want to do better against them this time.

Ervin Santana is 6-10 in his career against the Yankees & 2-6 in New York, 1-2 and 0-2 in New York while pitching for the Twins. In the postseason, he's 2-1 against them but both wins came as a reliever. He did pitch alright in a 2-1 loss a couple weeks ago but you could tell he wasn't happy with that start. He has been on a team, the 2005 Los Angeles Angels, who won a series vs the Yankees so....

anything can happen in One Game!!!

We can't wait, can you?
