Hello there! It has been some time but I'm back with a new design.

Full project: twanhoven.com/Wallet.html

This time I created this concept app you can use to keep track of everything you earn and everything you spend. All together bundled in an easy overview. Adding new expenditures only takes a few clicks and can be edited whenever you want.

[Important Announcement]

Hello everyone,

I'm sure many of you are well aware that Polycon hasn't received any updates since October of 2016. I believe I have been in the dark for too long and it's time for me to explain what has happened.

Are you going to continue working on Polycon? Unfortunately, no. I am officially announcing that I will no longer be maintaining this project from now on. My goal was to reach 1 Million downloads and I did that in just under a year and a half? With the help of many tech organizations and more importantly, you guys. I will be uploading the icon source to Piksely soon with a free to use licensing for your projects.

Why did you make this decision? Well, it wasn't entirely my decision, it had
to do with the fact that I messed up after I built my new PC. I wiped my laptop thinking I had all of my important files backed up. (Now I am sure you guys know where I am going with this) Unfortunately, I only backed up the .ai and .png files along with the keystore, I had forgotten to backup the actual source code.

So what does this mean for Piksely? We're still laying low, we had been working on a project with +Twan Hoven but I feel like I need to delay that for now as we both have things to focus on.

So I would like to thank everyone that was involved in making Polycon one of the most used icon packs (even to date). I am currently working on something exciting and I will be sharing it with you guys soon. Thank you for taking out the time to read through this.

Hi everyone,

Today I want to share a book called Android Development for Gifted Primates written by +Antonis Tsagaris. It's a serious but also fun book geared towards beginners. If you're interested in reading it (which I highly recommend) you can buy the book or read the first chapters for free:

Buy the book: https://gumroad.com/l/sghW

Preview of the book: https://www.dropbox.com/s/umj3hi5ioloicoh/Android%20Development%20for%20Gifted%20Primates%20free%20sample.pdf?dl=0

Share it with your friends if you want!

Video To GIF App [Collab UI Work]

I'll talk a lot here, so uhh, if you're a lazy skrub you might want to take a seat.

Oh boy where do I start, this is a project me and +Porasjeet Singh have been workin on ages now so spreadin the word would be greatly appreciated. Also, If you are a developer who has the time and the capability to fully bring this project to life, feel free to ask us for the files or ask us to make more screens!

Lets start with the icon, still somewhat of a WIP by me but this is the iteration I stopped at (http://prntscr.com/e0nfg1 rest can be found here). The first video screen is pretty generic and there's an easter egg on the third screen, if you may. After that is a portion of the video segment selection screen, two trim points with circular 'knobs' for ease of use.

To give the app its own personality, we decided to use a cute food icon pack that I happened to find on the (source https://goo.gl/4FN2qj) and make the app feel food centric since food is energizing and gives you the energy to do stuff that involves movement (as in, not static, thus the food centred app idea - atleast this was my train of thought), all due credit will be given in the credits to the artist of the pack.

Ignore the 'Love Fries, so do we!', we couldn't think of anything better at the time. But if you've seen my art station redesign, you might've figured I've been experimenting with a new kind of less obstructive dialogue with buttons, and this is another example of it. Plus, the idea of letting the users choose their way of supporting a product is something I've read from one of +Francisco Franco's posts (pretty sweet dev)

Last thing I'd mention is that the preview overlay for something like ohboy.gif shows up when you tap on the GIFs in the Exported GIF section of the app (see navigation screen).

Huge shoutout to +Porasjeet Singh for being a great help in this collaboration (in fact my first real time collaboration on figma, quite fun if i may say!), +Cookicons (because can't mention Micheal for some reason), +Twan Hoven and the rest of the people we've asked for immense amounts of feedback and pointers through the project, couldn't have done it without you!

PS : All artwork used in this concept belongs to their original creators

and that's all, have a good day if you've read my mini novel so far!

Piksely Animation

Here's a simple animation that I created for Piksely, I have also updated the website to feel more consistent and less cluttered. Any feedback provided will be appreciated.

Excuse the choppy ending, the gif isn't looped on the website so I didn't bother extending the end time for this preview animation.
