The furniture company began offering free wall-anchoring kits for tall dressers last year after two children died in accidents. Now, following a third death, it is recalling the dressers altogether.

Will you be watching for the Strawberry Moon tonight? #summersolstice
Look up in the sky Monday on the longest day of the year and enjoy a lunar coincidence that won't happen again for decades.

Chris Tilt, President of the Teton Valley Hospital Foundation (far left) joins Larry Cooke, Dr. Don Betts and Susan Kunz for the official groundbreaking ceremony in 1995

The hospital expansion construction was completed in 1997 at a cost of $3.7 million. Chris Tilt founded Teton Valley Hospital Foundation and served as the first Foundation President. Her leadership brought about a new era for Teton Valley Hospital and led to broad community support for a local hospital.

#TBT You may know him as your favorite local veterinarian, but Don Betts, DVM, has served the Teton Valley community in many capacities over the years.

He served on the Hospital Board as a Trustee and Chairman, for example. He presided over the $3.7 million expansion campaign, working hand-in-hand with hospital administration and the Teton Valley Hospital Foundation.

Today, Don and his wife Jan oversee the Donald J. Betts Special Fund administered by Teton Valley Hospital Foundation in support of patient services.

In this photo, Don, as board chairman, addresses the crowd at the grand opening of the newly expanded hospital in 1997.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of Teton Valley Hospital Foundation's annual 92-Hole Golf Til You Drop fundraiser. A select group of die-hard golfers start the day early and end it late into the evening as they golf every course (and every hole) in Teton Valley!

This photo is from the inaugural event in 2012.

Thanks to everyone who helps makes this event a success!

Hospital Administrator Susan Kunz recognizes the individuals and businesses that helped fund the 1997 hospital expansion project

Susan Kunz’s role as Administrator began in 1986. She led Teton Valley Hospital from a 6,600 square-foot primary care facility to a 28,000 square-foot critical access hospital.

The hospital expansion project was completed with $1.7 million in private contributions and grants, and a $2 million loan that has since been paid off.

She was also a volunteer EMT, often called out of meetings to don her EMS uniform to take ambulance calls.

Larry Curtis, MD shares his thoughts and appreciation for the community’s support of the hospital expansion

For over 21 years, Dr. Curtis provided around the clock medical care for Teton Valley. For most of those years, he was the sole medical provider. He was dedicated to his community, often missing significant family events to tend to his patients.

In 2000, Dr. Curtis received the Star Garnet Award from then Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne for his contributions to medicine.
