Every year I hear from at least one of my customers about how the snow plows have torn up their grass along the street. This can be very frustrating when you work so hard to have a showcase lawn. If this is a problem for you try staking 4 ft poles that are colored bright orange which you can purchase at most hardware stores. Another option is to buy wooden poles that you can paint yourself. Place several by street during snow season to help the plow drivers see where the street ends and your lawn begins.

If you have small trails in your lawn like this you may have voles. This tiny mouse-like pest can eat flower bulbs and become a nuisance in your lawn. Purchase a mouse bait (follow label directions) place bait in holes.
