This photo of cross-fox kit at the entrance to their sandy den was taken by trip leader Terry Elliott on a springtime wildlife expedition to see wild wolves and fox during the den cycle in Canada's Far North. Fox will often re-use abandoned wolf dens as their own. Wolves on the other hand, rarely if ever use the same den hole twice.  To learn more about our upcoming 'Search for the Legendary Tundra Wolves' wildlife expeditions to the remote Nunavik region in northern Canada in 2016, go to www.thelon.com/wolves.htm.

This fantastic video footage of two musk-ox bulls facing off on the autumn tundra in Nunavik Canada in September 2015 was taken by and copyrighted to cinematographer Beth Davidow. At first it seemed that with the serious face-off and prolonged stare-down that a fight was eminent... However the challenging bull finally seemed to settle with just nudging the other cheeks, and generally just being a pest. This awesome video was shot while on our 'Musk-ox, Autumn Colors & Aurora' wildlife expedition in Canada's Far North: see http://www.thelon.com/autumn.html
