REVIEW from Sheila Enright:
We recently stayed at your resort from and the only regret I have is that my vacation wasn’t longer ! You should be very proud of your resort. From the excellent golfing, the beautiful greens, your pro shop staff and the friendly starters was a golfers dream. Then there was our room which was exactly as it is depicted on your website. Top notch, clean, comfortable and gorgeous. Then there’s the restaurant Stables. Well we should never ever ventured out the nights we did, because the food was outstanding (and believe me that is a compliment coming from me, a real “foodie"). And the staff from the front desk to the restaurant wait staff to the maid service was extremely professional and friendly. We cannot say enough. It was fantastic and we will be back again. Anyone reading this should really consider this golf resort when choosing your golf vacation because you won’t regret it. #staycation   #summervacation   #resort   #resortvacation   #travelarizona   #explorearizona

Golf News
From the desk of Ben Moennig, Golf Pro

The golf course is in excellent condition this summer and the early monsoon rains are sure to keep it that way. The greens are soft and smooth and the fairways are as lush as I've seen them in the summer.
Our summer 10 Play Pass is available for purchase for $350 + tax and may be purchased in the golf shop. The pass is an excellent value (regular rates are $39 + tax weekday and $49 + tax weekend), is easy to use, and can be redeemed for play any day of the week, any time of the day.

The Tubac Golf Resort's course superintendent, Raymond Frey, has been busy for the entire month of June with a bunker renovation project on our Otero course.  He and his crew have completely excavated the bunkers and are now in the process of installing new drainage structures and will soon be installing the new sand.  We are extremely excited about this course improvement project and look forward to opening Otero soon.

The Resort is outdated. The TVs were the old bulky ones with a lot of static.

My cousin had her wedding here this weekend and Melissa was the worst wedding coordinator I have ever experianced. I have been to many weddings, been a bridesmaid in many weddings and have to say I would never recommend having your wedding or event here. After spending thousands of dollars you would expect to be treated with respect especially it being one of the most important days of my cousins life. Melissa was rude, rolled her eyes when my cousin calmly asked questions as to why her tent was not in the area they had talked about, she was completely MIA the whole day except for when she was having the bridal party line up to the entrance of the reception (which we all laughed about because we really didn't need her telling us what to do since we had been doing it alone all day). The cocktail hour was also put in the wrong location and all the guests were standing in the Arizona heat in the middle of the golf course with 3 measly little tents. Also the main tent was put way in the corner it was about a 10 minute walk to the nearest bathroom. My poor grandmother and pregnant family members were not going to make it to the bathroom, thankfully one of my Uncle's spoke to the Director of the resort and he agreed to have someone drive a limo golf cart back and forth. The food was good and the service for dinner and drinks were amazing. I honestly would go back if they got a new wedding coordinator, she was awful. Besides all that we did have a lot of fun dancing the night away. I would not have my wedding here though....the only thing that made it fun and better was all the family that ended up helping out.

Great quiet location; very nice rooms; poor cell phone coverage (not all bad but not good for business travel).

We have stayed multiple times as this is exactly halfway to our home in Mexico. It has a lovely casual resort feeling. We usually stay in the Hacienda suites but couple of times in the double bedroom suites that they have . The staff have been great, the golf is great, and we have had good food in all of the restaurants. It has a wonderful patio that overlooks the Tumacacori and Santa Rita mountain peaks. We will continue to return as it is a great place to rest and relax on a long trip or to spend extended time to enjoy the golf, the spa, the restaurants and some trips local trips to Tucson or Nogales.

We just returned from a 3-day weekend at the Tubac Golf Resort for a friend's wedding. Overall we had a great visit to the Resort. The room (we had the Hacienda) was wonderful with a great bed, nice shower (very hot) and it was very quiet. The Golf Course was very lush and in tip-top condition. The food was very good for both the wedding catering as well as the regular meals from the restaurants on premises. All of these good things being noted, there was one big issue...the lazy waiters and waitresses. The worst offenders were at the Stables restaurant. It took forever to get a menu, more drink, the check etc. We later found out that gratuity was already added to every tab (no matter the number of guests in the party) so there was no motivation for them to work hard to keep a customer happy. This lack of good service also carried through to the staff working the wedding. They were very slow and even rude at times (not wanting to provide slices of wedding cake). Very disappointing. Overall, it was a great weekend and we would have given them 5 stars if not for the lackluster service.
