Filmed using Transmission (TX) production services, SphereVision and Twain have created an interactive and enlightening journey for Schiphol airport, showing just how clever and intricate the baggage system is behind the scenes at Schiphol.

A 360° camera was attached to the top of a suitcase allowing SphereVision to film how baggage is collected, sorted and stored in between the time it takes you to drop your bag off, wander around the terminal looking for duty-free to buy, to getting on the plane ready for your trip.

It is a common myth that bags are still sorted and loaded by hand, this idea has been dispelled through watching the video, where viewers see there are over five robots that accompany the endless conveyor belts helping to handle, sort and distribute the endless melee of luggage that passes through Schiphol, making it the 5th busiest airport in Europe.

See the fully immersive 360 video on Schiphol airport’s website; http://www.schiphol.nl/Reizigers/OpSchiphol/Bagage/BagageVideo.htm

Large parts of the Thames Valley have been seriously affected by the recent poor weather with houses, shops and roads being left flooded and inaccessible.

The need for Insurers, Environment & Government Agencies plus First Responders to gain on the ground awareness of the extent of the damage and to assess and archive the extent of damage to properties has never been higher.

Using Spherevision systems, we took to the waters around Chertsey to capture test footage of what has proved to be a disaster for many homeowners.

Bristol Proms Augmented by Remote Control!

Jan Lisiecki enlisted the help of TX technology to bring a new digital twist to the orchestration of an updated version of the ‘Bristol Proms’. Honouring the original Bristol Proms that was originally staged at Bristol Old Vic in the 1840's.

On Monday 29th July, the 18-year-old piano virtuoso, Jan Lisiecki, found himself surrounded by a host of HD remote-control Bradley PTZ cameras, a virtual reality camera (Microsoft Kinect) and various slow motion cameras. The whole system provided an incredible visual background that complimented Jan’s masterful renditions of Chopin. The presentation included slow-motion video of the keys being struck, water glasses vibrating and massive wireframe models projected above the piano.
