A consumer proposal is an agreement negotiated with your creditors in the presence of a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and serves as an alternative to bankruptcy. It’s a legally binding agreement put in place to provide a debtor with immediate protection from creditors and debt collectors and arranges for partial repayment of the total unsecured debt owing.

It is always best to remove a lien against your home as soon as possible. The easiest way to remove a lien that is registered against your home is by paying the outstanding debt to CRA by either selling your home or re-financing your home. If you do sell or re-finance your home, CRA will be paid in full before you receive any remaining proceeds. If only a portion of CRA’s debt is paid from the proceeds received from the sale of the property, you will be responsible for paying the balance directly to CRA. http://trustee.ca #CRA #Lien #LienonHome #Debt #Bankruptcy #Canada #Toronto #Ontario #CanadaRenenueAgency #SheriffSoleMadej Sheriff Sole & Madej Inc.

Many people deal with debt problems by ignoring them and hoping they will go away. This type of strategy, however, is not going to work. and rather than solving your problems, you run a very serious risk of exacerbating the situation. As Toff Sheriff from Sheriff, Sole and Maj Inc said “ In many cases bankruptcy is only one solution, speaking to an expert who is not emotionally involved with the situation could give you alternatives you had never considered previously. With that being said, it is always more beneficial if you can control your own destiny before letting the situation get out of control and getting yourself on an active and focused plan will reap significant rewards for you.
