This resort is beautiful. The staff is incredibly pleasant and helpful. The bed is so comfortable, I didn't even want to get up! The only drawback is the location. If you're not coming here for golf or activities on the resort, the town around is not very nice.

Meticulously over the top service . I have stayed at several 5 star resorts and cannot say enough about the cleanliness of our room, how friendly the staff is & the amenities at this resort . We stayed in room 3112 overlooking the golf course . Breath taking . Before I could ask the staff they knew what I needed . My husband was there on business and I needed to work as well and the business center and front desk was so helpful. Errol drove me to the Trump International at the beach for the day . A shuttle will take you and pick you up at 10 -3 . Cassandra and Oriana at the pool took wonderful care of me when I was working the next day . The pool wraps each chair for you . They place your towel down for you. When it started raining they put your umbrella up too. The staff at the pool on June 8th all should be acknowledged. The steakhouse on the property BLT had the best appetizers and happy hour and amazing seafood . Anyone who does not rank this completely renovated upscale golf resort a 5 star is sadly mistaken . Thank you Trump Doral!

I'm only giving it 1 star because the golf courses are decent. The service at this place is horrible! The food is over priced. I had a $20 cheeseburger and it was burnt and not even edible. I ordered bbq sauce to try and suck it down and they sent a-1 sauce. We ate dinner at BLT and it was so bad the manager gave us a free lunch the next day and that service was so bad he had to apologize again. My bill was overcharged $140 and they wouldn't take it off. The only reason I paid it bc I was running late for my flight thinking I could call and get it reimbursed when I got home. I've sent numerous emails and left two voicemails and haven't gotten one response. No wonder the Donald can fund his own election. I wouldn't spend a dime at this place if I were you. There are much nicer places out there for the amount of money it cost. Oh and the cartboy told me to leave my golf shoes by my bag and he would load it in my travel bag. Never saw them again. Treat yourself somewhere else.

This past March the PGA TOUR hosted the WGC - Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral-Miami. Working for the TOUR and this tournament in particular I had the opportunity to stay on site during the tournament. I had a room in the Jack Nicklaus Villa on the 3rd floor. Whether you like Trump's politics or not, his properties are spectacular. Like John Hammond in Jurrasic Park, he's "spared no expense" when it comes to Trump National Doral. The room was everything you could ask for or want in a room at a hotel/resort. The bed was absolutely delicious. While I didn't need the dozen super plush pillows on the bed, they were exceptionally comfortable. It surely didn't take me long to fall asleep once I jumped in. The shower had ample space, great water pressure, and a thick glass door which actually kept the water inside and not on the bathroom floor (un-like some hotel showers). The tv was larger than you really need as was the desk and the closet. There are two excellent restaurants on the resort - BLT and Champions. Both offer great food and drink choices, though BLT will put a larger hole in your wallet. During the tournament I didn't have any time to hit the resort's pool, brand new tennis courts, or renovated spa, but I have no doubt they're all exceptional. If you're on Miami's west side for business, or near the airport, you should definitely consider staying at Trump National Doral-Miami. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and bring your clubs for a round of golf on one of the 4 courses located at the resort, including the famed Blue Monster.

I just came home to Tampa Bay after a 2 night stay at the Trump National Doral. I come down to Miami to have some R&R and I thought I would try the Trump brand before a trip to Las Vegas. Without a doubt this will now be my families go to place while in Miami. Although I did not get to indulge in the amenities because of my short stay and planned itinerary I will say the staff here is exemplary. From the time I was dropped off till I left this morning I knew without a doubt if I needed anything they would be there. I tend to be pretty independent when I travel and only call on help when needed, but it was comforting to know that if I needed assistance they were available. I was greeted with smiles from employees on every level of staff. The room service staff was excellent. I usually take advantage of in room dining because I frequently travel alone and the young men I met were top notch. Ordering was a breeze and arrival was usually estimated at approximately 40 minutes and arriving in 20. The location is beautiful and far enough away yet close to everything. My room although next to the entrance of my villa and housekeeping was quiet. The rooms are well maintained and the beds were extremely comfortable. I've stayed at many luxury properties and the sleep I received was needed. I look forward to visiting Trump Las Vegas and also bringing my family down for a few days of fun at Trump National Doral.

First, Sergio (bell captain), Carman at the Spa Suites, Allie & Danika (main bar), and Bobby the starter (from PA) did an outstanding job while we stayed at Doral. Generally speaking, excluding the ones mentioned about, the service was mediocre at best. The Spa Rooms were outstanding. BLT, the signature restaurant, was unimpressive as was the Champions Bar & Grill as far as product and service. Everything is expensive, too expensive. There seemed to be a lot of hands out expecting tips. The driving range was equal to a mid-level public facility. The golf courses were all groomed nicely and the pace of play was good but for $225-$500 green fees I would expect every aspect to be Class A. Based upon the costs and the experience we had, we do not see any reason to return.

I am not a fan of his politics, but to be fair, the business conference I attended was all managed by the property. The mojitos are very Miami, but other elements are very Mediterranean. That was odd. The grounds are beautiful and the staff very friendly. It is also very convenient to the airport and the freeway.
