I stayed at the Trump International in Chicago for four days this past week. I travel extensively and this was the absolute best hotel experience I have ever had. I have stayed in the Ritz Carlton and the Pierre as well as many other fine hotels and although those experiences were extremely good, I have never experienced the high level of service that I received at the Trump. The staff was absolutely amazing in every area of the hotel from the bellhops to the wait staff, to the concierge. The room was fabulous, the food fabulous, the service fabulous. I was visiting Chicago to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. She, and four of her girlfriends, are from Ireland and they are in Chicago working for the summer. The hotel staff was so kind and welcoming to my niece. The hotel worked with me to have a cake delivered and served from Alliance Bakery. We had dinner in Sixteen. The service and food were superb. There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful the experience was from the moment I walked into the hotel until the moment I walked out. Five Stars+ Maureen Pineau

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. Every time i stay here its the same old same old. they have horrible service and yet they charge you outrageous prices for the hotel rooms and there services. I would give them a 0 Stars!!!! Got a suite at the hotel for $1,200. 2 scummy looking Trump security guards demanded to search my room for no reason. Front desk manager was rude and unapologetic. I spent $1,200 at hotel and I felt like I was at a high class Motel 6. Go to the Hard Rock for your money. When I Booked my Room at the Trump Tower, I was hoping to receive the best in luxury, comfort, and service. The messages are nice, but the service in general here is atrocious! The head of the front desk is a patronizing snob and mistakes are never their fault; the security men are unorganized and beyond rude. Excluding the doormen and the people in the spa/gym who are wonderfully nice, the only positive thing I have to say about the employees at Trump Tower Chicago is that they are consistent.I would think twice before staying here again. My second experience at the Trump Hotel in Chicago in one word was DISGRACEFUL. I stayed here because i was doing a lot of official business, and this hotel by far doesn't come close to meeting my business trip needs. they where the worst accommodating to us and appreciated the money and business that we gave them. Not the Trump Hotel. The day started off with one of our directors from our field office in Guam who was in town for some meetings and training courses that i was also taking. A women who LIED and said that she was the hotel manager (later we learned she was the bar manager), got into the elevator with them and starting questioning them about why they were bringing those things and doing this and that, what their room number was (we had a suite that was 1100 sq feet), how many people were going to be in the room, followed by a "it better be because I am going to be checking on you! it was fine and quite all day and most of the night except at 3:00AM until 5:30 AM. when i was woken up by this loud banging noise During that two and a half hour period, 3 separate people came up and "checked" on us to basically make sure we didn't have more people in the room. When the third person came up, we were getting ready to leave and they told us we had to leave at that moment. We did come back and sleep there, but I didn't want to. I have never been treating with such disrespect and rudeness before and my friends and I will never stay at a Trump Hotel again. It's not worth the cost and definitely not welcoming.

Not only is the city amazing, but this W did not disappoint. From the chic art deco design to the rooms (get the Wow or Spectacular) I always enjoy myself. Be sure to book at least a month out to ensure the best deal. The staff is very helpful, concerned, and ready to help whenever possible!

Had a great experience as a guest of the hotel. Extremely attentive staff. In fact when the wi fi was not working in our room very well we had a hotel member spend two hours replacing the unit so I could work. The restaurant, 16, was a nice place for breakfast and everyone including the bell staff was great. If you are an out of towner, this is located in a great spot near many restaurants and shopping spots. You won't be disappointed. One issue was that the concierge was quite useless when discussing 'new' restaurants. Actually asked me where I HAD NOT been??? We started over with where I had been and then he handed me a map once I rattled off ten-15 spots ...that was disappointing. Would have been 5 stars had it not been for him. Would return here for sure!

I am writing this review after two years of me living at the Trump Towers Chicago. I love the condo side of the building and loved staying here for the time I was in Chicago. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for their complete lack of improving the in-room dining experience for their residents. There in-room dining team failed at so many levels that its not even funny. I regularly order in-room dining 2-3 times a week and don't get me wrong the food is amazing but there service and lack of responsibility sucks and scares me that how they can call themselves a 5 star hotel property when they can even get their order right 67% of the times (yes i have been tracking there # for last 3 months). They would go out of there way to screw up your order where ever possible even though I have been living here for 2 years and have been eating from them 2-3 times a week. I have spoken to there director of food and beverages twice in past 6 months where he promises that things would improve and get better.. I even told them how to - please just recheck the stuff that has been ordered before leaving the kitchen - stuff on the cart should match exactly whats was ordered - how hard can this quality check really be? But still NOTHING. They would still manage to screw up orders and then go back all the way to the kitchen to fix it and waste my time and their own time. It is so inefficient for their own business. Don't do it for me - do it for yourself guys. I gave them a chance to improve but its a shame that I don't think people can change and neither any of the improvements seem to happen in the in-room dining department. There GM really needs to understand how bad it really makes an experience for a person when the orders are wrong or they forget things more than 50% of the times. Other than the rough experience of in-room dining - Trump Towers is a great property to live in downtown Chicago. Good staff and great doormen. Very convenient location to pretty much anything you can imagine in the city. Would recommend living at the property or staying at the hotel without ordering from their in-room dining.
