The location, as in every beach hotel in Fort Lauderdale, is great! However the service could improve greatly! 1. I requested as high floor as possible, 1 month in advance and got a mid section floor 2. I requested an ocean view, which was in my reservation, and got a partial view. 3. I requested a late checkout at 1 p.m. and nice lady from concierge services was knocking persistently on my door at 11:01 a.m. asking "Are you about to leave?!" I'd come back, but for the price there are SO MANY different hotels to enjoy my stay at!

You pay top dollar for the worst accommodations and service. Hotel is outdated; dirty; and staff just sits there and tells you how they don't do this and that. They don't even care if customers have a good experience or not. I was looking for a phone as cell service was terrible in the area and three staff members just rolled their eyes and could not provide me a location where I can use a phone so i went back up to the room. At such hotels pool staff would help customers find the chairs and lay the towels and set up the chairs. We were given the towels and the lady said "you don't need my help do you". You also wait forever for everything. The only good thing about this hotel is you can see the beach from the pool deck and the size of the rooms. Other than that, find yourself a 2 star hotel and save yourself the cash, the service is the same. We went there because we thought it was a classy top class hotel. It was not. If you notice, the hotel does not solicit reviews/feedback from customers like other hotels of the same class.

My family and I stayed at the Trump International Resort this past weekend for two nights. There are definitely multiple pros and cons to this resort, and here I will explain why. If you get a Deluxe studio room with an ocean view, you will have the most incredible view, including a gorgeous sunrise and view of the beach. The room itself is nicely done, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were pretty clean so no complaints on that. Also may I add that the resort's location is very ideal, for there is a CVS Pharmacy and Publix just 5 minutes within a walk. Food at the pool's restuarant wasn't completely overpriced, yet taxes are a bit high (but what else do you expect from Miami lol). The pool area is clean, yet I would just like to add that the security at this resort is very strict so you always need to know your room number, the number of people you're staying with, and you have to give your last name every time. Honestly, its nice to have security but it kinda gets annoying from having to say it over and over if you just need to go inside to use the restroom or something. The valet parking is about $30.00 per night, so keep that in mind. Since we are Florida residents, we had some benefits so we didn't have to pay for that but that is the cost overall if you are traveling out of state. May I also add that the service wasn't as great of a service like a lot of reviews say. For instance, we asked to receive some plates and utensils for a little breakfast we were having in the room, and it took about THIRTY minutes for the housekeeping staff to come. Therefore, we had to eat without any utensils because it took a long time, and when the housekeeping lady came, she wasn't even as friendly. Lastly, if you would like to go swimming, be careful if you go around evening time because it was only around 6 pm, and they did not have ANY towels available for our family or anyone for that matter. I would just like to say, we had a fun time and got to relax as a family. Would we come back? Maybe not for a while but we did appreciate the experience. Thank you!

I cannot write of our experience in staying at the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles because we didn't make it that far. I booked a room over the phone with John in reservations. I made the reservations on a Saturday, for a Sunday night stay. John accidentally booked the room for the evening of my phone call, instead of the next day. My wife and I rented a car to travel across the state for her birthday celebration in Sunny Isles. While crossing the state, I received an email from the hotel saying our stay was cancelled. We called the hotel to ask why, and we were told that we didn't show up. I told the girl that we weren't scheduled for a check in until later in the day. She told me that we were supposed to show up the night before. I told her that was incorrect and she said they will listen to the recorded conversation between John and myself, but it wouldn't happen that day, because it was Sunday and a manager wasn't there to assist. I asked about a new room and she told me they were all booked up. In a panic, we called a Hampton Inn off the coast and had to stay there, instead of our scheduled beach resort. I was still charged $340 for the room I didn't use. I went into the hotel to listen to the message, to confirm who was at fault for the error. Again, I was told that I could not listen to the message because it was a policy violation. I did get a phone call back from John later that day who admitted he listened to the recording, and it was his mistake He also promised me a refund. I asked for a complimentary stay, or SOMETHING to ease our incredible inconvenience, but that never happened. This is really bad customer service. My time and turmoil have zero value to Trump International Resort, Sunny Isles. What a shame.

I would love to start of by saying the staff that are always under rated need to receive more recognition. Therefore I would like to say that the beach staff at the Trump International went above and over mine and my families expectations. They made sure our experience was second to none and unparalleled to other resorts we have stayed in. I would like to Thank: Durrant, Chrislin, Phil, Mark, John, Isma, Kevin, Kimesha, and many others that need to be Thanked by the Trump Management and they should receive a bonus for all their hard work and efforts. The work under that scorching sun from morning to night to make sure all guest at the Trump International Resort in Sunny Isle an unforgettable experience. From my family and I, we Thank-You and hope to see you in the near future. We will be back and hopefully next time you may join us for a football game on the beach. God Bless you and your families. Frank. .

Hotel is located right by the beach, which is exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are pretty good size and gives you fresh five start feeling. Breakfast is decent if you bought it within the package, when it gets crowded you may have to wait quite while on the omelet line because there is usually only one person serving. Overall really no complains, only one thing none of the showers around the pool work correctly, there is a spa right by the pool, it says take a shower before going in but the shower right next to it doesn't work. I didn't see anyone taking a shower before going in, if they work it is very difficult to keep the water flowing, you need to be pro bodybuilder to keep pressing the buttons and wash yourself. They should just use the ones that once you press the button water keeps flowing for like 15 seconds. It feels disgusting to walk around after using the pool with all that chlorine on you. If you like to go outside of the hotel DO NOT USE the yellow cabs in the city. One that took us from the hotel to our destination was fine but after that every each cab that we used was a disaster. One told us that he will charge us a flat rate of $25 for 1.8 miles, another one had no idea about where we were going even though I showed him the address but he kept driving. Download Uber and save yourself time that way you just enter your destination so you don't even have to speak with the driver.

Outside bar service was slow. After standing at the bar for 15 minutes, they finally took our drink order but then walked off after taking only 3 of the 4 orders. About 10 minutes later our 3 drinks were brought to us, and then the 4th person was asked what they wanted. Drink menu is very limited. I've been to hole-in-the-wall bars with better service, larger selection, more personal, and far cheaper.
