What's new with me G+? LOTS! Trivium is getting a new life. Semantics, content strategy, search - all of these things are still important but now I'm going to focus on the context - the people. If you'd like to learn more about knowledge-based leadership, visit TriviumRLG.com next Monday for exciting details!

Join us in Atlanta if you can! I'll be speaking at EDW and hosting the Unstructured Data Summit. Lots of great sessions are lined up!

Enterprise Data World, formerly the DAMA International Symposium & Wilshire Meta-Data Conference, is the business world’s most comprehensive educational event about data and information management.

Reviewing documents from my first months as an independent consultant. I've definitely learned a great deal in the last couple of years and broadened my horizons. I've had a couple of painful moments (I wrote WHAT???) but all in all I can say I stand by the work I've done, am pleased with my progress, and have goals for continuing professional development.

I think my biggest learning so far is how to let go of some of the zeal with which I embraced certain technologies and methods. The principles are more important than the encoding of them (usually). I'll borrow one analogy and break another: there's more than one way to skin a cat, and the medium is NOT the message.

Thanks Hank! If you come across anyone who needs information management or data governance help, send them my way. Who knew going to library school would turn out so well? :D

Couldn't have said it better myself +Eric Franzon! This was a fun month for us on the podcast - have a listen and take a look!

This was a fun discussion, and the implications are significant for Wikipedia and for the sharing of human knowledge globally, across languages! Can't wait for the Wikidata work to be completed.

Our annual "year in review" wherein we talk about what excited us in 2011, and what we're looking forward to in 2012. Enjoy!

Knowledge-based leadership coaching.
Introduction
I still believe in our original mission, below, but now I'd like to focus on people, not software. I've learned a great deal about leadership over the course of my career and would like to focus on helping people use their knowledge and skills. If you want to transform your data into information, your information into knowledge and your knowledge into wisdom, call me.

TriviumRLG is an information management consulting firm established to help organizations better manage their most vital asset: information. Be it for improved business processes, increased revenues, actionable intelligence or solid R&D data, every organization can make better use of the data that flows through their messaging, networked and human systems.
