My clients often express frustration after they’ve completed their interviews for a position they want. The common complaints include, “Why doesn’t the company call me back?” or “I feel like I have no power; all I can do is wait for an answer,” or “Can’t I do anything to make the employer say YES?”

Thank you Trish. Setting goals and tracking go hand-in-hand! It's how we measure our job-hunting process and prevent ourselves from feeling discouraged. Everything is a process, and takes time. Great tips.

Story
Tagline
Career Counselor, Resume Expert, LinkedIn Strategist and MBTI Practitioner
Introduction
After writing resumes and cover letters for more than 15 years on a volunteer basis, I joined the ranks of professional career consultants in 2009, founding The Resume Resource.  I now devote all my energy to helping people build rewarding careers that make them truly happy. As a career counselor, professional resume writer and job search strategist, my mission is to help others identify their ideal career path and develop the tools, strategies and confidence to achieve their goals.

In August 2015, I rebranded The Resume Resource as EDGE Career Solutions to better represent the full range of career services I offer job seekers at any level within any industry. Whether you are moving up the corporate ladder, looking to reinvent yourself with an encore career or a new college grad launching your career, I can help you market yourself effectively and win interviews. In addition to ATS-compatible resumes and cover letters, I provide LinkedIn profiles and training, career coaching, job search strategies, interview preparation, and administer the MBTI assessment.

Applying my expertise in online application technology and job search best practices, I work 1:1 with my clients and guide them through the job search process to make it less overwhelming and more successful. As one-size-fits-all solutions are rarely effective, I offer my services on an a la carte basis so that you can choose the services that best fit your needs. Why wait? Make this the year YOU find a great job that provides more than just a paycheck!
Bragging rights
In 2011, I left the corporate world and built a wonderful new life for myself as a solopreneur career coach. Now that I know how rewarding it is to have a job that I love, I dedicate myself to helping others find the same career satisfaction. To date, I have helped hundreds of job seekers of all levels across industries achieve their career goals.

I hired Andy Pidgeon of Angry Cow Marketing in 2015 to help me rebrand my career consulting company, and he delivered tremendous results! He led me through the strategic process of selecting the new company name [EDGE Career Solutions] and created my eye-catching new logo. Andy conducted valuable market research to help me identify my ideal target market and provided me with tons of very helpful advice. As a result of his expert guidance, creative ideas and well-laid out strategic plan, I saw an immediate 300% increase in sales. This momentum has continued with a steady pipeline of client referrals, well-qualified leads and higher than expected revenue generation! I could not have ever done this without the expertise of Andy Pidgeon. He helped bring my business to the next level, and I have never been happier. I highly recommend him to any organization looking to increase brand awareness, launch a new product or break into a new market. Andy is a valuable Marketing Professional!
