Tribes is offering an internship to tourism students interested in responsible tourism.
The position is unpaid and can last from around between 4 and 16 weeks.
This is a good opportunity to work with one of the UK’s best known companies for responsible travel. You will be working directly with the managing director on a number of responsible travel-related projects.
Our office is in a rural spot near Ipswich in Suffolk. Depending on your location, you can either work at the office, or this would also work as a remote position with frequent phone calls and skype chats, and meetings to keep in touch.
• You will need good writing skills, with an eye for detail, and good grammar and spelling being imperative.
• A good level of judgement in marking self-assessment forms completed by hotels about their responsible tourism credentials.
• The ability to hone down a lot of information into a paragraph of key points, expressed in a way that is interesting to travellers.
• Good organisational skills and research skills.
