In 1973, a spiritual awakening captures the hearts of the Woodlawn High School Football team. Lead by their coach, Tandy Geralds, and fueled by the team's dedication to love and unity in a school filled with racism and hate, the team makes an astounding run at the playoffs, leading to the largest high school football game ever played in the torn city of Birmingham, Alabama, and the rise of its first African American superstar - Tony Nathan.

Great value for the money. Taco Tuesdays at Black Knight Gastro Lounge and then on to here or vice versa, you can't beat the value. Very quick service at the concession stand and the icee and popcorn are good. Concession prices are comparable to other cinemas, but with dirt cheap prices on admission they've got to make their money somehow

the $5 movies on tuesday and wednesday are unbeatable! i always come here when i want to relax and enjoy a great movie. my only complaint: the firs two theatres on the right shake bc they are above the parking structure. so keep that in mind when you choose your movie!

Wednesday matinee prices are incredible. Inside is nice, like most other theaters. Parking can be a major pain when they're busy. Valet is a little pricey, I think 7 bucks...

Great prices on Tue and Wed. Go across the street for Taco Tues at Baja Fresh (1.50 fish tacos last time I checked.) Or, visit Saddle Ranch or Yard House. Parking can sometimes be a pain but arriving 15 Min early to find parking solves the problem. Weekends might be a bit more challenging, just allow time and you'll be fine. The escalators have been down for a while. Hopefully they're fixed when you decide to go. Otherwise, the stairs or elevator work fine. If it's your first time, pay attention to the different levels. This will pay off after the movie when you're ready to leave. Enjoy.

For all intents and purposes, this theater is a 3 star theater. However, the fact that it is so reasonably priced and is maintained reasonably well gives it a bump up to four stars.

This place is pretty good. They have some fun bars up top that are nice to drink and hang out, but they get pretty hectic with the usual rowdy crowds.

The Tuesday & Wednesday Family Days is a great bargain for first run movies. The Cinema Classic programs is a rare way to watch older films the way it should be seen- large screen in a dark theatre.
