There may not be any deluxe-style theaters at Triangle Square Cinemas, but this movie house is a perfect place to go for a pretty competitive price. All shows are $5 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and all of the movies are first-run. The concessions are decent and the facility reminds me back to the 90's style of arcade experience that was wrought with arcade games (which is sadly non-existent today in most theaters.) Located in Costa Mesa's 19 West area, which has a burgeoning nightlife scene for additional entertainment. This theater also has international and nostalgic films on occasion.

Great value for the money. Taco Tuesdays at Black Knight Gastro Lounge and then on to here or vice versa, you can't beat the value. Very quick service at the concession stand and the icee and popcorn are good. Concession prices are comparable to other cinemas, but with dirt cheap prices on admission they've got to make their money somehow

Great prices on Tue and Wed. Go across the street for Taco Tues at Baja Fresh (1.50 fish tacos last time I checked.) Or, visit Saddle Ranch or Yard House. Parking can sometimes be a pain but arriving 15 Min early to find parking solves the problem. Weekends might be a bit more challenging, just allow time and you'll be fine. The escalators have been down for a while. Hopefully they're fixed when you decide to go. Otherwise, the stairs or elevator work fine. If it's your first time, pay attention to the different levels. This will pay off after the movie when you're ready to leave. Enjoy.

the $5 movies on tuesday and wednesday are unbeatable! i always come here when i want to relax and enjoy a great movie. my only complaint: the firs two theatres on the right shake bc they are above the parking structure. so keep that in mind when you choose your movie!

I don't go to the movies often and I don't need fancy. This place had nice seats, free parking, friendly staff.

We take the kids here all the time. They also have showings of all the big movies on Thursday night (Star Wars etc) before official Friday opening. Prices for movies are the best in town.
