New zarfism: a Q&A with Barry Levenson about mustard! Got a moment? Learn something!
Mustard is one of my all-time favorite things. I've been left in the condiment aisle while shopping only to be found in the same place, after the rest of the shopping has been done. Lucky for me, m...

Any Recommendations of Wii U Games That a Kid Under Six Could Enjoy?
I'd like games that introduce a child to gaming, and are games they could grasp.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions!
+Pedro Henrique I like the idea of Scribblenauts as a co-op game of sorts.
+Scott Valentine I've seen Mario Party and the Bowser mode. Seems interesting. With Mario Kart, the kart often goes the wrong way, ha. Child of Light is a good suggestion. I am just have ignored it because the Wii U hasn't received all the DLC as others.

I've been looking into retro eShop games, since they're simpler. Kids don't easily grasp 3D controls, especially when there's shoulder buttons and analog sticks. Excitebike is good - push the gas and directions.

Games nowadays are built on top of decades of experience, and aren't simple as before.

I love that people like this exist. It gives good reason why aliens haven't shown themselves.

Hahaha. I love some conspiracy but this is a bit far stretched. I'd believe the possibility more if they had reason to believe Texas would naturally need disaster assistance and we're pre-emptive. But we wouldn't send SEALS and Spec Ops

I'm looking forward to when this is rolled out. This uniform is much better than the ACU.
The Army has started issuing combat uniforms in its new camouflage pattern to deploying soldiers, the service's top general said Thursday.

The balance is a uniform that will protect soldiers, primarily, while also looking good. The ACU isn't effective as being good enough for everywhere, and it's ugly. At least the beret is gone. Man, I hated how that was treated.

Fort Hood has a boot on the ground for every American life lost in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Introduction
"Nothing will work unless you do." - Maya Angelou
I'm a dad, an Austinite, an Army veteran, and a writer.

Some about me:

Zarfism (zarf-ism) noun.
The product of a profoundly puerile pondering;
stemming from seriously silly speculation.

I created The Zarf (with my mom!) in the spring of 2013. It's an entertainment site of comics, interviews, reviews, and a medley of other content. I create zarfisms (comics, interviews, medleys, and reviews). You might even find some Zarflings!
