Coach, trainer, writer, speaker, musician, dancer, traveller, listener, talker, reader, watcher, linguist, geek, gourmet and eternal student - I'd love a year of Groundhog Days...Work - Tho' It's Really Play
I run Soul Ambition
, offering coaching and training in many areas of personal, business and arts development, to private, public and voluntary sector clients.
I blog about life, love and everything else on Dream It, Do It, Love It
I'm have a wellbeing column in the Irish Sunday Mirror and write travel features and other copy. (I previously was a columnist for Northern Ireland's Belfast Telegraph, providing career coaching advice - old articles scanned and uploaded to www.dreamdolove.com/category/work
I'm currently studying a Master's in Music, Mind and Technology (music psychology, cognition, tech and neuroscience) at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I've been hosting and performing at the Soul Ambition Sofa Sessions
since January 2010. After getting invited to move it to the Ulster Hall for their 150th anniversary celebrations in May 2012, local virtuoso Conor Scullion
asked "Suitcase" Suzy
Coyle and I to start a 'musical collaboration' over the summer. That's turned into a 3-piece band, You, Me & the Sea
, and has been the best adventure - http://soundcloud.com/YouMeSea
Over the years I've played with Beat Carnival
's BEATnDRUM - playing samba, reggae, maracatu, afoxé. (See www.beatcarnival.com/BEATnDRUM
.) Through Beat, I've been lucky enough to take part in training by amazing musicians like Grupo Bongar, Moleque da Rua and Monobloco, and participate in carnivals and other performances (like this one in Bologna
- as part of 'BelBoBru', a 3-city music/theatre/puppetry collaboration between Belfast, Bologna and Brussels).
Finland, though I come back to the UK and Ireland to run workshops and training programmes, and am coaching clients worldwide via VOIP.
Most excited at the moment about:
My Master's programme! I'm loving it.
