My wife and I went in there yesterday to buy our first car, and it was by far the best experience! When we went in we got Wes to help us. Let him know exactly what we were looking for and found us the PERFECT vehicle. He didn't try to talk us up or give us anything we couldn't handle and that's exactly what we were looking for. We will be doing business through James Hodge Toyota, Muskogee, from now on! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this dealership. If you go, ask for Wes!!

Great place to buy a car from. Josh Thompson is a great salesman. He is a very friendly, and helpful salesman. They offer free oil changes for life when you buy a car from them which is a plus. I just returned home to Tulsa after a very disappointing trip (my 2nd in 2 days) to James Hodge Toyota in Muskogee. Needless to say, I will never consider James Hodge Toyota for any future purchases, and I will certainly never recommend them to any family or friends. Anyways...I found a 2015 Toyota Sienna online that we were interested in purchasing. I called the dealership on Thursday and was connected to a very polite young salesman. We spoke, he answered a few questions, and we set an appointment for Saturday at 4pm. On Friday our schedule opened up and we decided to go see the van that evening. We talked numbers, trade-in value, etc., and I was able to work with a member of the finance team to explain our expectations, what sort of payments we were hoping for, and the like. The finance person said they would call me on Saturday (it was too late on Friday evening and the banks were closed) once they had shopped around for financing. After a bit of back-and-forth on Saturday, they arrived at a payment and terms we could live with, and at 4pm I told the finance person we would take the deal and that we would be there around (yes, around, not exactly at, but around) 6pm to sign the papers and buy the van. He assured me 100% we would be driving home in that van tonight. We got ready, quickly found a babysitter, and hit the road. The trip is roughly 35 miles each way, and when we were within about 3 miles of the dealership at about 6:15pm, we received a call from our very nervous and frazzled young salesman telling us there was an issue, but that he would discuss it when we arrived. When we pulled in, we were greeted in the parking lot by our red-faced and visibly upset salesman so he could explain that there was another customer already signing the papers to buy the van we were there to purchase. I was of course upset, but kept my composure assuming that the general manager would be able to remedy the situation in some fashion. Well, we were told by the general manager that "if we held every car that someone said they were coming to buy, we'd have cars lined up down the street". We had at that point driven 105 miles total, given paystubs, filled out credit forms, and agreed on the terms and payments. We were more than just some people that were casually dropping by to browse the lot. We have 6 kids (3 of those adopted) ranging in age from 18 years down to 18 months, so making those trips TWICE, only to be told that they sold the van out from underneath us while we were driving there to buy it was one of the most ridiculous business situations and colossal wastes of time I have ever encountered. I can only assume that the customers that did purchase the van were going to net a better profit to the dealership, because apparently at James Hodge Toyota of Muskogee, the almighty dollar holds far more value than running a business with integrity. UPDATE: they called me back and offered to "help" by telling us they would try to find us a similar vehicle at auction. Then a few days passed, then a week, and still nothing. In the meantime, we purchased a van at Jim Glover on the River, and those guys were great.

Bill Smith was very friendly to us. Helped us get a great deal! We spent less than an hour from start to finish! We had been looking for a Camry for 2 months! A great deal came up at James Hodge two days ago on a LOW MILEAGE 2014! Best price I'd seen after looking EVERYWHERE from Tulsa to FT Smith to O.K.C over the last couple of months. Love the free oil changes and free drive through car wash for life! I had always thought the best deals were in the bigger cities like Tulsa, I was wrong!!!

Josh is the best sales rep and deserves a raise. At least a good size cookie and a pat on the back. Had a great experience buying a 2012 Chevy sonic, I live a good 1.5 hours away from the dealership and did everything over the phone, easy. Josh even drove the 1.5 hours and brought the car to me. Allowed me to test drive the car and signed papers on the trunk of my new car. Great service, highly recommend James hodge Toyota and ask for Josh!

I've used James Hodge Toyota for the past 5 cars. I like new vehicles so I trade them in after a couple years and have yet to receive less than I deserve as a trade in. Their customer service surpasses all other places I've been to, except James Hodge Hyundai. Mr. Hodge trains his employees exceptionally well! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

At about 100,000 mies My Check Engine Light on my 2000 Toyota Tacama PreRunner came on. The diagnosis was the vaccuum modulator. This was replaced and I was charged Several hundrd dollars. In September of 2015. The next week the light came back on, I was again charged to diagnose and fix the same issue. Now this Check Engine light has come on again.
