You shouldn't just be worried about getting your body ready for summer, but also your car. AAA has four recommendations to avoid heat-related breakdowns

They Stole my money. knowingly. This is the 2nd time in my life, ever, writing an online review. These guys are a Bunch of thieves. The employees inside there know how they schim people and do nothing about it. I made sure with 2 different sales rep that the monthly payments for my old car will be taken care of as I'm leasing a new car, already made the payment due for the upcoming month, and I suspected that a "misunderstanding" will occur. Not a month goes by and the creditor calls me a month later to tell me I'm missing a payment. when I explained them I already have a new car, they apologized and said that their deal with Toyota of Manhattan is different, as these thieves took advantage of my latest payment. An honest mistake? NO. I called and explained the issue in details. I named the dealers who shook hand with me to the manager. I even requested that my car will be returned to me for a month. As I am paid for it.. NOTHING. The manager couldn't give a S***. He said in a very condescending tone : I know what you're saying but according to my document..." (in other words - we've done it before there's nothing you can do). A one time scam? NO. I told my friend the story, he also has a Toyota. When he came to replace his vehicle, SAME EXACT THING happened. only thing is he learned from my mistake and made them sign a different sheet of paper with specific details. He called out their lie. they double checked, and gave him his $450 back. Be careful

Wow where do I begin, I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it has been the worst experience in my life dealing with cars. They still have not paid off my old car and the customer service is horrible. I've been calling them about this issue and they give me the run-around and never call back. If you are going to PURCHASE a new vehicle, I STRONGLY suggest you go somewhere else.

Service department is very rude and service also bad. You have to wait 5 or 6 hours just for oil change. Unbelievable.....

I had such a bad experience at this dealership. The sales department does not provide good service, in fact it sucks! They are lucky people still buy from them. I want to highlight a salesman. (STEVE WILSON) for being so unprofessional and not well spoken. I don't know if it was something against my character, but the guy did not treat me RIGHT at all. He didn't even shook hands with me. In this type of business PROFESSIONALISM is a must, but apparently TOYOTA OF MANHATTAN didn't trained the guy well. Professionalism is not his thing!

Thank you Tracy (in service) you have been the best and if it was up to me I give you a raise because special people like you are hard to find and Toyota really need to keep an person like you. Just so the people reading this know, I meet you for the first time a few weeks back when I had my 6 month check up on my Toyota. I brought my car in around 10 am, you told me it would be finish at noon and by 12:10 I was driving home. This week I had a tire blow out hitting a pothole. I now live in new jersey and thought I would try a new jersey Toyota place to change my tire. I won't go into details but it wasn't good so I walked out and went the next day to NYC and once again Tracy did just as he said. My car was finish in no time. Also big thanks to Patrick in parts because he too went out of his way to make my life easier. So the BIG pep's at Toyota of Manhattan should really be over nice and generous $$$ to Tracy and Patrick. Tom DeRosa owner of a great 2015 rav4 limited

I had a great experience working with Steve Wilson as a sales rep. He was always avaliable and helpful in negotiating the best car deal for me. He was also very helpful when dealing with the finance department at Toyota. As a result I am very happy with the deal I received on my new car and would strongly recommend using Steve Wilson for your next Toyota car purchase!.

These people are beyond dishonest. I put down a REFUNDABLE $500 deposit for a car, and they could not procure the car identified at a competitve price. I was promised by the sales person two days later that they would immediately credit my account, and that was 2 months ago. Every time I call I keep getting the same story. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Go out to Smithtown on Long Island, much more reputable to deal with. These people just give you the runaround and are disreputable, and should not be allowed to operate in this manner.

I left a $500 credit card deposit. The dealer was unable to secure the car. Salesman told me the deposit would be credited back to my account. Didn't happen. I called to speak with the salesman and was told that he left. I spoke with the Customer Service Manager. Customer Service Manager told me he would take care of it. He didn't. Called and left a message for the Customer Service Manager. He didn't call me back. I ended up filing for a charge back with the credit card issuer. My advice to anyone looking to buy a Toyota... "run, Forest, run..." to another Toyota dealer, but not in New York City. The same group owns several Toyota dealerships in NYC, including the one up in the Bronx. I ended up buying my car from Parkway Toyota in Englewood. They were professional and straight shooters. I got a good trade-in, deal and .9% financing. Don't waste your time with Toyota of Manhattan. If service isn't there at the point of sale, it won't be there after the sale when you will need it most.
