'The Jacks' actually mean the toilets here and is probably more common ! Did any of you guess ?

Okay here's an easy one ! If you have ever been to Ireland, you must have heard the expression : 'What's the craic ?'

Can any of you tell me what that means ? :)

Okay, so 'the fear' is actually what you'll have after you were ossified.

So everyone knows what happens after a good night out ! You probably won't remember much and you'll probably feel like a complete wreck ! That's the fear !

Our next saying can be : 'The Jacks' Come on people, you must know what this one means ? :)

Did you know that the "Oldest Pub in Ireland" is reputed to be located in Dublin. The Brazen Head has been a pub since 1198.

The pub has been there over 800 years !
That's enough to convince me ! Anyone for a pint ?

Did you know "Mac" or "O'..." which I'm sure you already know, are often in front of Irish surnames, mean respectively "son of ..." and "grandson of ..." in Gaelic ?

Yesterday's word 'Ossified' actually means very drunk here in Ireland ! You could say : Oh I was ossified last night.

Today's saying will be : 'the fear' any clues ?

I'll give you one, it's linked to ossified ;)

Did you know that Dublin's O'Connell Bridge is reckoned to be the only bridge in the European continent that has the same width as its length ?

Did you know that even Dublin's largest mountain, the Great Sugar Loaf isn't even tall enough to be classed as a mountain and only measures 423 meters above sea level !

It's still beautiful though ! And a great place to visit in this lovely weather ! Check out this beautiful picture from mountainviews.ie
