Great job, kiddo! That's so awesome that you are teaching adults like me how to do this. :) And a high-five to your Mom and Dad for raising such a smart guy!

Must Watch Video: "No Strings Attached" by Sheri Long (@sll214) Sheri Long reveals how a mysterious viral brain infection leads to six years of homelessness.
http://oralfixationshow.com/no-strings-attached-featuring-sheri-long/

I have had the pleasure of attending a writing workshop with Sheri and absolutely adore her and her writing. Her brain injury and journey really speaks to our need to provide more awareness for brain injuries and support. Please watch and share!

52,000 children in the U.S. are living with a parent who has been wounded in combat in the past 12 years. They are our   #hiddencasualties

Today, our family (who participated in this study among many other families) and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation are proud to release a first-of-its-kind comprehensive assessment that identifies how these children are impacted, and what we can all do to help. http://ow.ly/uI25b

I get interrupted so much in my daily life that I started doing "one thing at a time". It's wonderful being able to keep my focus on just one thing, even if the world around me is trying to dictate otherwise. :) Thanks for the great tips!
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to ringing in the new year on a positive note. I know it's popular to be setting resolutions about this time... It's something I've done just about every year up...

So happy to see you shifting to bigger and better things, Pam! And I went through the "holy crap, I have two teens in the house!" earlier this year. I totally hear you! It makes my heart sing to see you moving upward in life. <3
There are times life has a way of just jumping up and biting us in the a$$. We all know it and have experienced it. In March we actually got approved for a home loan, huge step considering where we were 3 years ago. As of tod...

After more than a decade of war, the toll faced by the nation's military caregivers is large and can be expected to grow in the decades ahead. Yet, despite this group's vital contribution, little is known about them—their numbers, the burden of caregiving that they shoulder, or the resources that exist to support them.

To shed light on these “hidden heroes,” a RAND team conducted the largest, most comprehensive study to date of military caregivers. Results of the study, to be released next week {click to read more...}
