I'm planning my first foray into home roasting coffee. I was startled to find that I could buy green coffee beans in huge volume but as it turns out coffee stores for a long time in it's unroasted state. Up to 2-3 years of safe storage makes those 50lb bags of bulk priced beans seem like a pretty good deal. I could save a lot of money by making my coffee from scratch. Anyone else out there do this?
