Back when mission day Berlin was just announced I knew I just had to go to Berlin yet again. So I almost instantly booked it. However due to my sister studying in Denmark I decided to fly to Denmark just the weekend after to visit her. However several weeks after I booked this #LuxAdventure  was announced and I went to Paris last minute (https://plus.google.com/+ToonSchoenmakers/posts/NJa59Dr87Sp). Due to this I was near 26k unique visits, so that'd be about 4k to go. But it was quite obvious that Berlin would be all about uniques, so TV tower banner it is (https://plus.google.com/+ToonSchoenmakers/posts/iCgi8CXBY7C) landing me over 28k with still several days of Berlin left. Meaning my last few days there consisted over pushing for more uniques by doing banners outside of the city center. I eventually left for Copenhagen with 29.4k uniques and with 2 unique banners for almost 800 uniques I knew I would be fine. I eventually got this on Saturday evening during one of the unique banners in Copenhagen, had some beers with locals. To then go home the next day.

Some stats
- Nearly 8k upv in the past month
- 4400 upv in Berlin and Copenhagen
- 1234 upc

I did another thing.. That's two 100km plus banners completed..
So dreaming about going to Berlin ...
ScarePT is waiting for the right moment, Toon have been there last year, so wait for NIA to release a proper event there to have a good excuse to know that amazing city :)
We got Mission Day Berlin, soon we start doing plans about exploration. So yeah lets enjoy Saturday to enjoy the city and be Tourists 😂
So challenge will start in Sunday, we plan it carefully since we will get heavy rain in Tuesday (due to weather forecast), so we need to do it on 2 days, or we need to finish it on tuesday walking. Sunday at 11AM we are near TV Tower and its rainning a bit, so the big question is: "We will really start this?" - well the answer was easy lets renting the bikes and start!
25h of cycling in two days
More than 140km biking
Biggest banner in Europe
372 missions
2 drivers complain
Unlimited U-turns
Lots of people bitching because we ride bikes in sidewalks
Unlimited traffic rules broken (specially during the night)

Personal achievements:
- Everytime we go to the tower have sure that is full deployed with 4 SBUL
- 5x Black Spec Ops to ScarePT
- 5x Black Spec Ops to Schoentoon
- 28k UPV to Toon

#Ingress #LuxAdventure #NeverStopExploring #Berlin #YESWeAreFuckingCrazy

So, several weeks ago I was having a beer with +Debbie Ebus - van der Werf when I mentioned I would likely beat her for the #LuxAdventure. This was the moment she told me I probably wouldn't as she was going to London the next week. Yeah, I'm not going to lose that easily. So I started looking for flights to big cities, pinged people in big cities asking how many upv I could get. 2 days later I booked Paris as +Minnie Max told me I could get about 3.000 upv and I could simply crash there.
So on Monday when I arrived in the afternoon I started with the Notre Dame banner, followed by the Jardin des Plantes banner which went through a nice park. In the evening I started on the Bord de Seine banner which visits a lot of the portals around the Seine, I knew this had some overlap with Notre Dame and I wouldn't be able to finish it in one night, but it seemed like a good choice as I could easily finish it the next day.
On Tuesday after I finished this banner and continued towards Jardin du Luxembourg to do the banner there. Afterwards I decided to do the banner at a cementary, a banner which would take about 45 minutes and I had about 1 hour before closing.. Sadly after mission 9 I was stopped from entering the second part of the cementary because it was 20 minutes before closing time (site said they wouldn't let you enter 15 minutes before closing time ffs). So I joined a farming event which was around the area and called it a day.
So on Wednesday I finished this banner and took the metro Pere Lachaise to do the banner there. When I arrived it sadly was all blue P1, but to my surprise there was a frog running into me who was just about to do the same banner. Due to this it took a bit longer than I expected (not exactly the same walking pace), but at least we both got all the unique captures. Then in the evening I decided to do the Seth banner, leading past quite a bit of street art, definitely a banner +Kira Kage would enjoy.
On Thursday I finally did the Le Jardin des Tuileries and Le Louvre banner. Then later I joined +Minnie Max and some of her friends on the Bouncy Castle banner in the evening, during which we made some very nice defensive links for +Arnaud M.
Then finally on my last day, I decided to not do banner and just roam around for some portals. Roaming towards the Eifeltower first, to then roam more and more towards the airport. My intention here was to hit 500 more portals this day so I would hit 4000 for this month, sadly around 5pm it started raining a bit, which started screwing around with my screen quite quickly. So I just called it a day and left to the airport quite early. Was very lovely to see this city again after going there 8 years ago with school. Purely thanks to Ingress I've seen more of the city than I did back then.
