Sunday flying. Beautiful weather and clear skies. Flew down to Colorado Springs, Pike's Peak, Air Force Academy, then over Denver and Bronco's Mile High Stadium.

Also got to try out my homebrew Stratus, which uses a Raspberry Pi, software programmable radio, GPS and Wifi to stream location, air traffic and weather to my iPad running ForeFlight. Works like a charm!

Stun gun "was not in common use at the time of the enactment of the 2nd Amendment."

Interesting question! While I personally don't 100% agree with the modern legal interpretation of the amendment, under that interpretation I'd definitely expect stun guns to be classified as arms. I don't recall ever hearing any instance where a weapon's lack of military utility was grounds for banning it. Devout pacifists, for example, are protected by the 2nd amendment though they obviously won't run to join a militia any time soon. Antique arms and single shot defensive weapons are also protected, I think, though their military use is negligible.

Interestingly, the second amendment seems to be the only one that specifically references a technology, firearms, instead of a process or practice like trial by jury or freedom to speak. This makes it particularly difficult for it to "the with grace", given the rapid progression and expanding capabilities of the technology in question.

I've deleted a post from my G+ stream because the articles linked picture magically "changed" in 24 hours from an article appropriate image to an advertisement to buy sweatshirts of German Panzer tanks.

I think the #googleplus  team needs to investigate this sort of bait-and-switch in article images and/or links.

I hope Tesla makes electric cars the norm one day soon.

I'm actually waiting to seeing whether they can do real lane keeping on the freeway with the sensors currently on the car.
The car is much less sensor equipped than a high class Merc, and the Merc I tried did not do lane keeping on the freeway very well.

Perhaps the era of the electric vehicle is here. When they provide Tesla charging stations at a Bass Pro Shop in Independence Missouri, you know it's arrived.
