Being a Simon Templar, Lord Brett Sinclair and (of course) James Bond fan, this is sad news for me.
Vale Roger Moore. Thanks for the childhood excitement.

My wife and I are hoping to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with a cruise. Now that I've seen these two, I'm not so sure it's a good idea.

"Maurice, I don't want my picture taken."
"Martha, just move to the left a bit."
"Maurice Arbuckle, if you point that finger at me again, I'll break it off!"

For those seeking perfection in their images don't look here
Whilst Kai sneaks up on the Time Blade, a deep and meaningful conversation ensues:
"I don't care if you are the smartest, Mother says I'm the prettiest!"

I was so careful to get the minifigures right, I managed to ignore the background leaning at an angle! This shot may not be pretty, but I think it gets the message across.

I suppose the takeout here is: enjoy what you do, learn from your mistakes, and keep on trying.

A Funk Busting Challenge - and you don't even have to take a photo

Okay members, I put this to you: in order to support our magnificent moderator +Kathleen Milks and her efforts to create more interaction in this community, I wish to challenge you to pick an image, taken by one of the members in this community, that inspires you. Share it with us and tell us why it makes you want to bust your funk.

I'll start:

I'd like to share this image from community owner +Al Chris.

It inspires me because I love mono; I love both murals and street art; and I love interesting images that 'break the mould'. This image covers all three. Al has cleverly chosen mono, and it allows shapes and patterns to form. This shot has broken the mould in a couple of ways for me: the bottom third is quite ordered and starts to follow leading lines and rules of thirds, but then the top two thirds becomes interesting chaos with the ladders and mural itself. Also, the subject itself is out of place in our traditional thoughts of what should be in a church (mild artistic desecration maybe). I think this shot is inspired and the more I look at it, the more I like it.

How about you? What image from a Funk Busting member (the image does not need to be one posted on the community) inspires you?

Curated by yours truly, +Maayan Windmuller and +Pat Kight

I don't like to conform to expectations, so I am posting about food for the soul...

This is the third year the Wall to wall festival has been running in Benalla, a beautiful rural city in north east Victoria. So many talented street artists take over the town creating amazing murals and pieces of work.

I had the privilege of watching Adnate complete his piece as part of the festival.
Late afternoon, golden light beginning... pure magic.
This image shows Matt capturing a few shots of his finished piece.
I left with a filled soul and much awe ;)
