Who can forget characters like: Krazy Kat! Popeye! Flash Gordon! Beetle Bailey! Blondie! Prince Valiant! Hagar the Horrible! Barney Google and Snuffy Smith! Baby Blues! Mutt & Jeff! Zits! Juliet Jones! Buz Sawyer! Steve Canyon! Bizarro! Hi & Lois! Maggie & Jiggs! Johnny Hazard! It has already been 100 years since King Features Syndicate unleashed all these characters onto the world. Look out this October for King Features Syndicate: One Hundred Years of King Features Syndicate from IDW. The people that contributed to King Features are pop culture institutions. These characters still have life even with dwindling newspaper readership. They were truly kings.

Nine years of blogging. Sandbox World turns nine years today!  I did not think I would be still doing this. Some ups and downs, still chugging along. Nine more? Who knows.

Hello world, it's the deep-fried Big Mac!  Peepmyeats are you mad? Get ready for a wreck in your arteries!  There is going to be a pileup of cloggage. And to top it off, you included Big Mac sauce on top of that monstrosity.  This is my breakfast, brunch, lunch, supper and late night snack all rolled up in one.  Even the Hamburglar does not want to touch this.

Great contest!
Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re giving away a fully functional ecommerce business to one lucky entrepreneur! Yesterday we shared a case study that outlined the entire process of how the Shopify Content Team built Hello Matcha – a dropshipping business selling matcha tea. In three days, it generated close to $1,000 in revenue. Now, we're giving the business away. This is your chance to take this turnkey business and make it your own...

Am I in heaven? Gummy plus pizza! Yes, I am in heaven. It's the Yummy Gummy pizza made with all the gummy sweetness you've come to love.  It even comes in a real pizza box!
Every ingredient that makes up this sweet pie is a unique gummy flavor, starting with the crust (orange) and cheese (berry blast), all the way to the toppings of pepperoni (cherry), green peppers (apple), and yellow peppers (lemon). Now, who’s going to be the one that gets the last slice?

Colonel Sanders can ride a horse and a skateboard. You can get your copy at Comic-Con in San Diego.  Just make sure you do not buy a bucket of chicken, the value will go down with grease stains.

Deli Man is a documentary from director Erik Greenberg Anjou, examining the art and history behind delicatessens. An interesting fact is that pastrami is actually a Romanian creation.
Deli Man is a documentary film produced and directed by Erik Greenberg Anjou; the third work in his trilogy about Jewish culture. The celebrated preceding films are “A Cantor’s Tale” and “The Klezmatics - On Holy Ground,” which have to date screened at more than two hundred international film festivals and have been broadcast in the U.S., Israel, Canada and Poland. The principal guide of Deli Man is the effusive and charming Ziggy Gruber, a third-generation delicatessen man, owner and maven (as well as a Yiddish-speaking French trained chef) who currently operates one of the country’s top delis, Kenny and Ziggy’s in Houston. Kenny and Ziggy’s has been touted in press reviews ranging from “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” to the L.A. Daily News.

There was a real little red-haired girl (Donna Mae Johnson) in Charles M. Schulz's life. He loved her and proposed marriage to her. He pledged to create a comic strip and take care of her for the rest of his life. Her family begged to differ, they thought he was a loser. She later married a firefighter. A dejected Schultz retooled his gag panel comic "Lil' Folks" into a daily tale of a perpetual loser that everybody despises. The semi-autobiographical strip caught fire and still keeps burning.
Said Schulz of the relationship, "I can think of no more emotionally damaging loss than to be turned down by someone whom you love very much. A person who not only turns you down, but almost immediately will marry the victor. What a bitter blow that is."

The best little comic store in Montreal. Marc is a great individual. He keeps a fresh supply of the latest comic books. You will not find any cards or figurines here. I am sure he can order it for you. He is a connoisseur in comic book history. He knows what he is talking about. It is strictly passion before business. In my 40 years of comic book collecting, Marc stands above all comic book stores in Montreal. Believe me, I went to all of them. Marc is fair with his prices.
