Wow it has been nine LONG years since I played Ballyneal. I miss that place more than just about any except perhaps Scotland or Black Mesa.  Review here: http://goo.gl/DF2jQ
Ballyneal is a private golf club located a few minutes from Holyoke Colorado. Ballyneal opened in September 2006 and I was privileged to play the course before it officially opened. Holyoke is a very small town in North Eastern Colorado, roughly 12 miles from the Colorado/Nebraska border.

This is almost too cool. #golf   #belt
These NXT18GOLF belt buckles are made from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, individually milled and crafted, as well as hand-painted for each customer. 100% crafted in Massachusetts USA. I just got the buckle/belt yesterday and will definitely put it through the rigorous HOG review battery, ...

A #golf travel bag and golf bag all in one.
I believe in doing proper golf equipment reviews by putting the gear to use in the actual situations it will be used in. That's why it took a little while for me to get this review done. I've been using the bag as a standard bag for a few rounds, but just needed to get the thing on an airplane, ...

Not realistic for me to play at the level I used to when I played 5x/week, when I'm only playing 1-2x/week now. Live with it or quit.

+Tony Korologos I think it's the expectation of what a GI iron is supposed to do. Really it comes down to strike more than anything.

In order for me to play recreationally with my friends, I need some help. They all play two to three times a week and I play once or twice a month. With my blade I couldn't play to their level consistently.

However, when I'm playing competitively, my blades come back out and I practice like hell.

Different clubs different mindset.

Today I had the pleasure of whacking the white spheroid around the Pechanga Golf Course here at the Pechanga Resort/Casino in Temecula, CA. Pechanga Golf Course Above you can see my shot on the scenic par-3 17th hole. I hit a 9-iron past the flag left and it came back down the hill, ...

Play the golf cart as it lies...
I hate cart paths. They're a menace and diminish the game of golf in my opinion. You will see no cart paths at the Old Course in St. Andrews, ever. The revenue generating aspect of cart paths, especially for American/resort golf is a fact of life for most courses. Without that extra revenue many ...

I'm such a diehard with the grammatical details… Errant Shot Sign. Every time I play the 3rd hole at one of my home courses I read the lower sign and think to myself, “Since I'm only responsible if my shot was 'errant' I'm not liable if I knock out the house windows intentionally?

Sandals Emerald Reef.  Fun course with fantastic views.  Here's a video flyover I shot.  Not the greatest lighting at the time, but still awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQGAiVJi3o0

Yes Gwen. This was shot by one of my many drones.  Surprisingly, this one is the lowest quality of all of them.

Made myself play this ball as punishment for poor performance. Birdied next hole and almost aced next. Lol.

+skpknight beat ball for the money. Wilson Staff Elite 50. $12.99 for a dozen and rivals many golf balls out there.

My wife and I went there to hear live "jazz" and have a drink. The martinis were very good. The music, though they said it was jazz, was not. The band was just doing instrumental covers of rap and pop tunes.
