New SS Dripper from Snailtech freshly coiled, 2mm coil, 1.6ohms, cotton wool wick. It's a sod to coil in the tight space but worth the effort. The only bad point is the threading on the 510 connection pin, it's far too loose, may have to try tin foil to tighten it up.

+Russell Gilder I normally run small drippers at 1.2+ and save things like my Helios or Trident for sub-ohm clouding on mechs. Makes life a lot easier as you can swap from mod to mod without worrying

Seriously, some of the coils being built now are like vaping origami.

Man I've seen some crazy stuff. I stick with what I know how to do and what works best for me.

Just re-coiled this to 1.3 ohms with 8 wraps of 29 gauge kanthal. It's so bloody smooth I'm doing lung hits with 18mg juice :-)

My MVP died on me, so I only have a mech mod right now. I'll be getting a meter this weekend though.

A must read. Seriously. "Therefore, it should be easy to implement a reasonable regulation that is very much in line with consumers’ aspirations. Unfortunately, this may be politically impossible to implement because the growing popularity of e-cigarettes is a threat to the interests of the tobacco industry, the pharmaceutical industry and to their associated stakeholders due to the substantial decrease in cigarette consumption and NRT sales. The fat revenues generated by tobacco excise taxes are very much needed by authorities to run their national state and local governments. Fees and investments from the pharmaceutical industry for the marketing of antismoking drugs and medications intended to treat tobacco-related diseases are much needed by regulatory bodies, health authorities and medical societies for the running of their statutory activities. If these obstacles can be overcome, much misery and suffering can be reduced and millions of lives can be saved."

For the sake of argument, let's assume that vaping really is a threat to public health (quite the opposite, we know, but still, bear with us on this one). If this is the case then the so-called public health experts and decision makers were recklessly endangering the lives of millions for more than half a decade by now. How nice of them. But back to facts. E-cigarettes save lives. Public health careerists save their interests. Do not trust the scaremongers.

Destroying artillery with hyperbolas

During WW I, a British mathematician thought of a way to determine the location of enemy artillery, which was miles away, by using only the sound of the gun being fired.

The method worked like this: the time that the sound from X reached microphones at locations A and B differed by some amount, and the difference was measured precisely. From that, and the speed of sound, the difference in the distance AX and BX was then known. Mathematically, this condition determines a hyperbola (blue) – X was somewhere along that line.

The same analysis was done for microphones B and C (or A and C), which determines a second hyperbola (red). The two intersect at X.

They would then begin firing their own artillery at location X, in an attempt to destroy the gun there.

The system worked very well.

Just seen this posted elsewhere, unfortunately with no details as to the owner. It is apparently called the infinity coil, and is built on a helios.

So I was in my local vape shop today and they had a delivery, I got ambushed by the eHuge and had to have one. It isn't just huge, it's mahoosive, with stacked MNKE high drain 26650 batteries.

It's like a Vamo on steroids hooked up with a 134 and did the dirty, with this as their offspring.

+Dean English mine is a vape tech clone, with their markings on the box, I got it from a UK shop, so I don't know who they got it through. The design is excellent, way better than the Nemesis in my opinion.
