I'm not a numbers guy, so this was really helpful!
Your marketer or agency shows you a social media data analysis or what they may claim is a social media data anlysis. Usually they’ll include number of social media followers, and engagement data. They may also include impressions, mentions and reshares. Or all sorts of fancy graphs that tell you... nothing. You’re wondering, what does this do for me?

As a communicator, you may think you have nothing to offer charities, particularly in a crisis situation. Robby Brumberg dispels that myth with a few ideas.

The use of website pop-ups is a marketing tactic communications pros love to hate. But Laura Petrolino points out they have good use, if executed well.

I'm consistently encouraging clients not to spoon-feed viewers the story. Part of being a good storyteller is helping the viewer or reader discover things on their own.
Brand storytelling is about telling a story that resonates with your consumer. Learn to use a minimalist approach to allow them to be part of your story.

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift jotted an immaculate and respectful note to Apple, on Tumblr. It is a fantastic example of how the world of PR has changed.

Found ourselves in a real pickle and Larry's helped us out big time. While traveling in Nashville, our car's check engine light went on. Larry's diagnosed a significant problem on a Saturday morning and had us back and running in a matter of hours. Lucky we found an honest mechanic on short notice a long way from home.

First time staying in a Hilton Suites... they won us over. As a family of three, having the separate living room was fantastic. The rest of the hotel was great. Friendly staff and a clean facility. Couldn't ask for much more.

Just spent our second time at Estrold Resort (Pioneer Cabin)... this time with two-feet of snow on the ground... such a good time! We went sledding, took a walk around the grounds, warmed our feet by the fire... lots of family fun. Our daughter is too young for much else, but we look forward to her getting to ice skate at the resort as well as try some snowmobiling with us in the future.

My wife and I love this place and visit whenever we're in DC. The burgers and milkshakes are awesome, and my vegetarian wife says their mushroom burger is the best she's ever had.

What a great find! My wife, daughter and I were looking for a good dinner spot... seafood that wouldn't break the bank... saw some reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. AWESOME food and the staff was really friendly. The restaurant itself is small but nice.
