"MIT's Robot Cheetah Now Runs Free Without Cables Or a Leash" http://feedly.com/e/BWuNL3X7
A lot of robots in development are able to perform amazing feats in a laboratory setting when they've got plenty of tethers and cables keeping them perpetually powered and safe. The real test of their capabilities is when they're forced to explore and interact in a real-world environment, like the robot cheetah that researchers at MIT are developing, which recently took its first untethered steps outside.

Everyday objects take on new, often humorous life in the works of Minneapolis artist Brock Davis. Here's a sampling of his work.

Yes, SG looks like it could have been FZ's. No covers and small pick guard. Ripped the covers off mine so it would like like his.

Great band, girl played an awesome alto sax. Lots of improv. Very talented group.

Did a nice job on my new Storm Rocket. He checked out how I rolled the ball before he drilled and got a good fit the first time. Thanks

Great burgers and best Philly cheese steak around. Fresh cut fries are awesome. The 20 ounce burger is insanely huge and delicious. Dinners are also on point. Orchard pork chops are really tasty and the unique sweet potato hash is delicious. They make some great sandwiches and breakfast also serves up a voluminous scramble of eggs, hash browns, meat and cheese. Pancakes and French toast are well done and satisfying. Wish they made soup more often. Had an Italian wedding soup there I really liked, but they don't seem to make it too often. Overall a friendly local place for eat in or take out. The biggest negative is the parking lot is a disaster.

Great breakfast. Bacon, bacon, bacon. French Toast is awesome. Eggs area always fresh. Omelets are massive with 3 jumbo eggs. Bring an appetite and a friend.

Raritan Bay Guitar Repair did an outstanding job on my ovation. The head stock had split and it was seamlessly epoxied back into place. The repair is essentially invisible and the set up was perfect and the guitar sounds like new. Thanks Kyle and CJ for the great work, prompt delivery and amazing care you provided.

I was experiencing discomfort in my knee that was steadily getting worse. Having seen other doctors in his group, I made an appointment. Dr. Charen barely examined an x-ray of my knee and diagnosed osteoarthritis of knee. He told me I was overweight and had to have Bariatric surgery before he would consider any surgery to replace the knee and offered no treatment in the meantime, brusquely sending me home. He made me feel I was wasting his time. A couple of weeks later the pain was unbearable and my GP ordered an MRI. Turns out the meniscus is torn and I had a sprained MCL and I have made an appointment with another doctor. I needed some help and Dr.Charen chose instead to embarrass me and send me home with no options. In my case, he lacked compassion and empathy. Apparently I was not a perfect patient worthy of treatment. I expect that he is measured by his success and refrains from treating imperfect patients that might ultimately be failures. His attitude was demeaning and his diagnosis was ultimately inadequate.
