I don't see it for schools.

This isn't just me bashing MS (which I have been known to do). The Surface seems too expensive and delicate for schools. I mean, the advantage of the Surface seems to be its keyboard and that just wouldn't survive long in schools. 

With every school system I know absolutely strapped for cash, buying expensive tablets makes less sense than buying Chromebooks or cheap Android tablets and is far less sexy from a PR perspective than buying iPads and iPad Minis. I just don't see people going for these things. 

IT guys might foist them on people, but they don't seem like anyone's first choice for classrooms.
