The Republican Party taking a platform of porn as a public health crisis could really cut into Donald Trump's core constituency, dudes who follow and @-reply porn stars on Twitter.

I don't have a strong preference for the old Google+ or the new Google+, but I feel like chrome has been loading the old Google+ and then immediately prompting me to switch to the new Google+ every time I go to the site for months now and THAT could stop.

I WILL GLADLY TAKE IT. I have no problem with the new Google+. I am just super annoyed that it asks me if I want to move to the new Google+ every single time I go to Google+ on my laptop. THE ANSWER IS STILL YES GOOGLE, ITS BEEN YES EVERY TIME YOU'VE ASKED!

The Warcraft movie tanked here in the most incredible way and went on to be the top grossing video game movie of all time entirely because of China. Its official: the US Box Office is superfluous.

Star Fox fanboys: GIT GUD NOOB, GIANT TABLET CONTROLLER IS GOD
Eiji Aonuma (creative genius, producer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and actual Nintendo higher up): Actually, giant tablet controller was a regrettable mistake.

So Sony and Insomniac Games (and Sucker Punch might be involved in some capacity?) are working with Marvel to kick off a beautiful and authentic PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man game franchise, and I cannot help but think to myself that that was probably part of the deal where Sony finally gave Marvel the Spider-Man movie rights back. That must have been one of the things Sony got out of it. At any rate I'm tremendously happy. It looks beautiful and divinely inspired and I started crying a little when I saw the trailer. There haven't been any real Marvel video games since Disney bought the company like 8 years ago, they've exclusively used the video game rights to make dumb mobile phone games and Disney Infinity expansions. And with Disney killing Disney Infinity and dissolving Disney Interactive Studios, I was starting to feel like I would never see one again.

Read this huge reddit thread bemoaning the reported reshoots for Star Wars Rogue One. "Whaa they're making it worse."

YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YOU MOUTHBREATHING LITTLE SHIT. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE NOW JUST LIKE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE BEFORE AND YOU ALSO DONT KNOW WHAT WAS CHANGED. YOU'VE LITERALLY ONLY SEEN A BRIEF TEASER OF THIS MOVIE INFORMING YOU OF BASICALLY JUST ITS CASTING DECISIONS IN BROAD STROKES.

Lightning port to 3.5mm headphone jack adapters are starting to pop up in Asia, as rumors that the iPhone 7 will have no headphone jack (in a bid to make the device slightly thinner) are beginning to solidify.

People think we don't have seasons in Southern California but we really do. We just started a new one. Its 111 degrees outside and everything has a yellow and orange tint to it and swimming pools are filling up with ash from the nearby wildfires. I think this one is called Apocalypto.

Now it's 96 at 9!

That sounds like a tagline from a Classic Rock station.

As an ardent and lifelong gamer the most compelling non casual experiences in VR seem to be soul destroying horror.  Is it basically the fate of the VR helmet to be a literal machine that projects nightmares into your brain, and if so is it insanely masochistic to pay money for that?

The Final Fantasy XII remake for the PS4 is called Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age.   They say in homage to the fact that it's the first time the Zodiac level system featured in the international directors cut version has been playable in the US.   I'm pretty sure it's to obfuscate the fact that it's an HD remaster of a PS2 game from 2006, and not an original game.

It took me a not-insignificant amount of time to realize he meant "autumn," not "our society's collective undoing."
