Typical response of Montreal police. Locals got used to the fact that the police here does nothing except traffic tickets. This guy is shocked at how useless our local cops are. Years ago, police main task is to collect money. Their second job is to protect the government from citizens. Fighting crime and helping citizens is the last thing they do, usually only when explicitly told so by politicians. Otherwise, laughing in people's face is a regular response.

http://www.theverge.com/2016/11/30/13792376/netflix-offline-downloads-now-available

Downloadable content in Netflix. Great thing. Tried to today, and for some reason, the Netflix app (android) won't start in a metro when no connection is available (error -9).

Error: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/22396

Work Around:
I have to put the phone in Airplane mode, which discos my Bluetooth headphones, then start the netflix app, and then reconnect headphones. Looks like the app only lets you start in offline if the phone is in airplane mode, which is annoying.

Still great feature, just needs polishing.

Our hipster PM Justin Trudeau have managed to make an ass of himself by making a tribute to a previous era dictator who have managed to turn a small island country into a prison while killing thousands of real and suspected dissidents. Fidel Castro has kept a whole nation in abject poverty, holding them prisoners of his own ideology. He deserves no more praise than Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot or any other sociopath from the same list.

The amount of immigrants risking their lives trying to reach Florida is the proof of how "great" his system is.

Here is how Sony Customer Service sucked for me today:

1. I used the Sony website to find support for my broken Sony device. I found a chat service, which is my preferred way of solving support issues.
2. A horribly looking chat services started up. I felt I just traveled 20 years backwards in time. I though Sony is a tech company, and yet they can't even seem to have a descent chat service.
3. After a pointless conversation of few minutes the agent figured out I was not from USA (somehow their software does not show the IP address of whoever contacts them? WTF ?) and told me I need to contact Canadian Support. He pasted a number.
4. I asked if I'll get a transcript of this conversation to have the number and a copy of what we talked about. The system asked me for my name and email after all before the whole things started. He said No, he/it won't send a transcript, then he closed the chat, and it disappeared before I had a time to copy paste it.

I do not get how these guys do it to suck so badly, and yet still have customers. I was not a huge Sony fan in the first place, but this experience just made me die hard dissatisfied customer.

+Google Chrome Anyone knows a good way to get merged tabs back ? This completely kills how I browse the web and use my phone. Very disappointed at google. Please gimme some options !

+Google Chrome Removing merged tabs completely is a mistake. For me, chrome became less usable as it is.
